Sounds like you don't live in a large city where your commute to and from work entails endless lane changes. It also doesn't sound like where you live has speed cameras throughout the city handing out tickets in some places for going over 25 or 30. Try keeping a steady 25 for five blocks. I can appreciate your point of view but the perspective seems limited.I do not understand why people hate this so much. Get over it! It's NOT HARD to see the speed on the right side.
From Feb 2021 when I got my first edition I have had the speed on the right side of the screen because I always keep the lane assistance on and use cruise control on almost every drive I take. I'm used to it and never turn lane assist off so I never see the speed in the center. Y'all should be leaving lane assistance on too honestly.
Side note, I hate how Ford separated the lane assist and lane centering buttons. There are roads I want lane assist on but centering off and I'm not going to go into the menu to turn off centering for that one road so I just turn off lane assistance completely.
People. You'll get used to it. This is a COMMON practice in modern cars as the center car display is for ADAS information for the driver. Sure, Ford doesn't do much with it now but holy cow people why are you so angry at something SO trivial?
