This happens often.... From what I gather the dealers outsource to Ford the websites. As MSRP and incentives change how they have them coded can change their website without their specific intentions. So new incentives might overlap others... might include fireman and military whether you can get or not etc. MSRP is still all over the place. Some dealers list lease rebate, some don't. Its a mess and has been since JOB 2 2023 messed everything up. Agreed. no wonder they sell any. actually shocked anyone bought at the current price in 2024 after the tax rebate was lost with no movement on price. this MSRP change is 2 months too late.

Is this for a Premium?
And are you trading in a premium?
I have a standard battery wanting an extended battery. That’s the only difference PLUS I must have 3 years of blue cruise that’s the deal breaker for me. Silly as it sounds but $80/mo plus higher payment does not make sense for the extra 90 miles

What I am seeing is the Windows stickers are getting updated with new creation dates. That might be an automatic thing as maybe Ford hosts them? The dealer pricing on the websites themselves are still showing old pricing around upstate NY. Contacting the dealers directly, they do have the correct numbers.

But see that's the thing . NOTHING changed in the 4 hours since the first price and the others .Ford didn't repeal deals . They didn't adjust MSRP again today . It's all static except for the dealer moving numbers around . I can see why these cars have been on his lot for almost a year .
IF the price stayed at the early , low price Id be at the dealer NOW...or Id be driving home from there with the GT.
IF the price went up during the 45 minute ride to the dealer they would've had a very large very angry man on their hands .
The pricing for cars all comes from a feed. (Read as automatic for the hundreds of cars in inventory).

I was just guessing that they may have had $X off MSRP in the feed from the old discount but raised the price when the MSRP changed because it’s no longer that much off.

I searched and found some $70k+ MSRP GTPE listed for $47k today.

It seems too cheap now.

You can always call the dealer to be sure.

Talked to a friend who is an auto broker today. He said he's never seen this tactic before...massive discount across the board and he thinks people certainly are entitled to be upset. It devalues the vehicle and the fact that you can get the 0% for 72 months in a time of high interest rates...that's the insult to the injury. For those of us who already bought...your re-sale is now in the tank which would detract from ability to trade-in and trade-up. I dunno...makes me wonder how you can trust Ford the next time you are in the market for a vehicle?

Did he miss the $20-50k price drop from Tesla across the board a year ago?

I should have been more specific. These moves in tandem. Tesla doing their move and then Ford more or less following suit.

We are for sure in uncharted territory for car sales. Never before had it seem the profits of 2021-2022……..only to get creamed in 2023. Especially without a recession.

Big rebates or price drops aren’t anything new though. I remember in 2015 you could get 10-15k off new pickup trucks from Chevy and Ford.

Interesting, but still confusing without the actual numbers.

Bottom line, what can you buy a new 2023 loaded GTPE for now, vs last week vs original MSRP?

Example- 73k original, 62k last week, now??
actual number were provided above in post 76 and 77.

A car dealer who does not know how to price cars is definitely in the wrong line of work.
MSRP changes aren’t SOP for Ford.

Like everything with the Mach E, Ford is all over the place and keeps changing things.

Ford Options? Totally new and different
MSRP = invoice pricing- new
MSRP changes and rebates- new

I blame Ford for the confusion, not the dealers. And dealers don’t get any heads up or warning when prices change. They find out in real time the same as us.

I’m guessing the internet managers are having to go back in and manually reprice each of the Mach Es one by one in their back end system.

The sales price shown in my quotes above is before rebates which could be for lease or purchase. The GT quote I provide above shows a dealer discount of $8000 and the awd premium a dealer discount of $6000 both before rebates. How I know this? When I make initial email to a dealer for their best OTD quote I don't tell them I want to lease. In the OTD quotes I request I speficically state that itemize their dealer disount and rebates (a reasonable request since rebates are taxable). I only tell them I want to lease after I know how much they may be willing to discount the car.
