We already know we are almost there, for Ford at least with GM likely next.

I suspect you’ll be able to order the Ford adapter within a few weeks or so. And be charging on superchargers in under 60 days from now. Likely sooner.

Wonder if that means it will work smoothly for us eurotards too! Much of the Tesla network is open in Europe, but some countries are still left dark (such as Poland for example), which gives hopes that they’ll open up everything for us too.

This transition doesn't apply to y'all. You have different issues to contend with.

I think it’s going to be at least a month (early April) before we see the adaptors in “ordinary people’s” hands. Some people may be given them early, along with blocked off Tesla superchargers so they can make their YouTube videos ???

A lot of the hollowing in that thread is bc the GT was angled awkwardly while charging.
It will be interesting to learn WHICH V3 Tesla SuperChargers will be more accessible than others for the Mach-E. If there are no barriers and you drive straight in you car needs to almost kiss the front of the V3 charger for the short cable to reach (but it can).

Whether a particular station retains the barriers that protect the charger from the car, and whether any station restripes the location of each parking space etc will be important to know. Over time we will learn from PlugShare which stations are to be avoided and not worth your time to stop at, unless it's an emergency and you are willing to park sideways for a short period.

As more and more non-Tesla vehicles arrive in the coming year, at some point Tesla drivers will have to get used to the fact it is no longer their SuperCharger anymore and more like when they go to an Electrify America station, were nobody claims it as theirs nor that there is ONLY one correct parking place to charge from.

The tesla network was to open to Ford in Feb. I assume they are, if you have adapter. The only issue is no adapter. But we will have the adapters soon. Then fighting will begin as non teslas take 2 spots.

it was originally negotiated for spring. Keep in mind, in addition to the adapter, the cars will all need OTA updates to be able to seamlessly use the tesla network without having to join the tesla network, pay sub fees etc.
