After many errors and refreshes I finally got mine to reserve. No number though, just a message telling me that it is being produced and I will get another email when it is ready to ship.

Placed my order about 30 mins ago when I was hitting refresh over and over again. Finally got in and said it was confirmed. No email, so I just went back to the site to see if it was actually confirmed. It wasn't, so re-did the order and just got an email #5344. If you didn't get an email when the servers were needing lots of refreshes, go check again. Still May 2024 ship date.

Part of the problem is when each customer hits refresh again and again.

Ford tried to make the reserve process easy by populating the VIN and address but in doing so, it causes many interconnections.

Yes, it would help the others if people that already ordered don't try to hit the website to check status, etc. until later in the day.

Hang on... It's February 2024. And we can request the adapters now? I was bracing for a 6-12 month (or longer) delay. Impressive!

But Ford. Seriously. Do you not realize people can have hyphenated names? Sigh. (managed to order once I fixed that issue).

All I get is site down due to surging demand. Around 8am CST I got to the part where I enter my personal info for shipment but it prevented me to get the final reservation in. Bummer.

Edit: Well I guess my earlier attempt to reserve one did actually go through despite not getting a web confirmation. I do have an email confirmation and just hadn't checked. I think I'm #3782.

I got the reservation in. Now I just need to wait to convert it into an order. Let’s see… First they have to start shipping. Then I have to wait half a year until the GT order mill opens up. Then I get to wait until there’s a chip shortage and receive a communication that my production date has been delayed. Then the month before my delayed production date I receive communcations stating that my production date has been pushed back (twice in 2 weeks). Then I get no communication at all from Ford and two months after that my dealer texts me a pic of the truck carrying my order coming in the driveway. ??

When I follow the directions for ordering a Fast Charging Adapter the website returns this error message: "Due to surging demand, our site is temporarily unavailable. Please check back soon."

Come on Ford! Surely a "surging demand" could have been anticipated.
