in the confirm email it has a "check order status" that will take you to your ford account and give you an estimated date, it seems april-june is the range right now, I'm going to bet it's sooner

I registered today at 11:30 AM CST. I don’t know exactly what order I am in (as the XX registrant on the FordPass site) but it does tell me I have an estimated ship date of April 2024 so people must be signing up like crazy!

Finally went through after 1.5 hours of trying both on the site and in the app. It finally worked on the site, and got the confirmation email about 5 minutes later. Order # almost 10k. Estimated delivery in May.

Checked the chargers in both the ford pass app and tesla app (I have their solar system). It'll be cheaper to charge at tesla supercharger even without their membership. $0.46 and $0.44 per kwh at the two closes stations, even without membership. Home utilities is $0.53/kwh. Tesla member brings it down to $0.35/kwh but $13/month membership price.

Edit: I meant to say that in about a half an hour after I receive notification that somebody was number 71 on the list, and was getting theirs in April. I am now on the waiting list expected in June.?
Silly me and I thought we might have the adapter by the time we took our road trip to Frankenmuth in April??

when everything is up and running you should be able to just plug in to a tesla supercharger and it will bill the card you have on file in the blue oval network.

Yup, but if I use it through my tesla app (and join their membership) it will drop the rates down even more compared to billing through blue oval network.

After 4 hrs of waiting for a confirmation email - that never came - I called ford to verify the order went through. Luckily it did! #779.

The number I was given was 800-392-3673. Don't say anything and wait for the prompts.

thanks - i called in and after some searching they found my order. whoever answered the first phone call had to forward me to an EV parts line. the CSR was really chatty but in the end she found my order under my email address. 11000 and change.

so in the motorcycle people using disc locks have all kinds of tricks to remind them to take the disc lock off. popular one is put this tag on the ignition to remind you. I'm thinking something like this placed on the start stop button. But surely people will forget them.
