Thanks Ford! My NACS adapter apparently comes with complimentary 250kWh of fast charging + 22,000 points

My 2021 MME came with the 250kWh of complimentary fast charging via the BlueOval network when I first got the car, which I used up.

When I went to reserve the NACS adapter yesterday, it said I had to first register with the BlueOval network. I was surprised, as I was already registered.

I got a confirmation email today welcoming me to the BO network:

Take your first trip on us. As a new member of the BlueOval™ Charge Network, you get 250kWh of complimentary fast charging at Electrify America®. You’ve also earned 22,000 FordPass®Rewards Points** for maintenance, accessories, and more. ​

Agreed. Just hate to have to wait so long. Who knows, it may be less of a wait at CCS now and a long wait for a Tesla charger.

Good point, but the surprise of finding a working CCS charger will always still be there.

I think we now get the best of both worlds... the CCS DC Fast system(s) and also the Tesla Superchargers. Couldn't have come up with a better outcome if they had paid me

Not to pick on you specifically, but you do realize that Ford is completely dependent on Tesla to manufacture them, right? If Ford had their way, they'd ship all of them by April.

Uh, YEAH. Multiply $200 by the hundred thousand or so they have to give away to see how good of a deal it is.

No, I did not receive the 250kwh again. Only when I first purchased the car.

No one should. The 250 free kWh and Ford Pass points are for signing up with the BOCN not for specifically reserving the adapter.

Maybe Ford will review this and take your kwh away from you. If you give me 125 kwh, I won't tell them. ?

I don’t think it’s spoiled to wonder why they didn’t make thousands of them before announcing you could get one. I have a sub-500 order number and the estimated ship date is April. I’ve not received the OTA that enables plug & charge.

It’s like being given a Christmas present, then when you open the box there’s a note that says, “Coming Soon”.

I wouldn’t mind so much, except they sent adapters to all their social media influencers. No one is being honest that there is a 1-3 month wait.
