Teslarati article claiming Tesla addressed the cable length issues and parking. Once you read the article, you see that Tesla's approach is to urge people to try to block as few spaces as possible when angling in. That's not much help! And see the angry comments below the article.

I charged at a station in Brewster NY that has the magic docks. And as I parked I noticed a few other J1772 as well. I pulled in and got as close as I could and did my best not to take up too much space. It wasn’t until I got out that I noticed that we J1772 had turned the Tesla station into an invariable (shit show) zoo by not being mindful how we parked. All the teslas are able to back in as their chargers are all in the same place so they can be all in line. Everyone else is all over the place. Back front left side right side. It’s a hot mess. I can see why they won’t be happy sharing. But hey. We can all agree they are douchbags. As we’ve seen from the pics.
