OK, make sure you know where to put the jumper cables both times. The roadside guys will have no idea where to put them on an EV. Do not allow them to put the jumper cables directly on the battery, it's important to use the jump locations he pointed to in the video only. The bumper ones are just to open the hood only, they can't be used to start the car.

Tesla has a similar system for opening the frunk in case of 12-V battery problems. I have seen reports that a small 9-Volt battery (such as commonly used in smoke alarms) will work to open the frunk, but I have not tried it on our Tesla or MME. Has anyone tested this?

got the frunk open but no power inside the car. Let it sit for 30 minutes on and it did nothing.

Got it open but there is no power inside the car whatsoever. Roadside assistance is worthless. Won’t tow because it’s electric.

They jumped it… got the door open but nothing is turning on in the car. No door lights, display, nothing. My doors won’t shut now.

They charged it for 20 minutes and nothing. They charged with a 2010 Chevy van.

This is what my app says. I am in the car. Door will not close. Zero power inside the car whatsoever.
