How does everyone know their anticipated ship date? I received an email confirming my reservation but no other details

Does the above number mean I’m #52,817 in a wait line? Bummer since I ordered pretty early in March. Yikes.

There should be a "Check order status" button at the bottom of the email, will tell you the estimated ship date.

Yes, you're 52,817 in line.

You should have received a confirmation email from Ford and that includes a link into your MyFord account and that's where you'll see the estimated ship date.

I ordered mine within three hours of the announcement on Feb 29 and I'm 3200-ish. I'm pretty sure 10k was blown through before the end of that day.

Around 100,000 or so total.... been somewhere in the 30,000 a year range give or take. But yeah I know there was a large number of adapter orders the first day.... despite the way Ford did the announcement. (edit: ALSO the Ford F-150 lightning orders too... not sure how many of them out there)

Anyhow... ~2000 order number... I guess they did have an errored ship of the 8000-ish range? ... oh well... I assume mine will still come too late for my next trip 3,000ish mile trip, as expected.

I guess they aren't going in order then because mine is a lower number and it still says estimated ship date is April.

Just eyeballing profiles of people reporting the same as you they mostly seem to be near the west coast and it's possible yours are getting shipped from somewhere other than Dearborn...

Just checked my status. Ordered March 4 and looking at delivery in August. That blows a summer trip I’d hoped to take. Except I just replaced my old Q5 with a used BMW X1 which I really like. Peppy and fits in our garage better than the MME.

it’s 3 years old (low mileage) and has some neat features our Select doesn't have: voice assist navigation - I press a button and ask to go home and the nav map pops up. I love that.

Also, my iPhone contact list populated the sync screen and makes calling very easy. Again, I just ask the voice assistant to call a friend and, snap, it’s done!

Still love RedHot but my X1 gets 33 mpg so I feel I’m still being energy conscious. Best of both worlds. And I have heated seats which my MME Select trim doesn’t have. I assumed that feature was standard, but it wasn’t.

It’s not only Mach-E’s. Lightning owners also qualify.

The works on Sync in your MME too. Press the voice command button and say “take me home.”

A strategy many seem to be following is to order either the A2Z or Lectron Supercharger adapters now, and sell it second-hand when your gift from Ford arrives, especially if you have specific travel plans for the time before your Ford adapter ships.

This might normally be a questionable strategy, but bear in mind that MANY other makes will have access to the Superchargers by summer and there's no guarantee that they'll be getting freebies like us, so the odds are good you'll find a buyer for your used adapter.
