I'll see multiple Teslas at every stop light around town. The GF has told me to quit pointing out other MMEs as they're much less rare these days. Who knew; lowering the price increased sales.

Random semi off topic question, I see many other brands of EVs near me but never the Hummer EV. Does anyone ever see these near them? I don't think I've ever actually seen one on the road.
I've seen one in the wild. Shouldn't be too surprised not to see them. There are only ~4K of them in total. By comparison there are ~117K MMEs in the US.

Hello fellow challenger budddy??my old ‘14

IMG_0984.jpeg
Hey bud ? . MY old 14 . If that car was a red wide body Im pretty sure Id still have it . Dropped a Kenwood 7 inch touch screen in it with wireless Android Auto and was living my best life . The window up/down thing made it impossible for me to tint the windows myself and I didn't want my doors disassembled so I left em untinted.

I live in a large-university town in Iowa, so we have a good number of people with money, higher education, and progressive politics (not trying to stereotype, but it's safe to say we'd have more EVs per capita than most smaller towns in the state). We generally get cold and snowy winters, although the last few have been relatively mild. I've seen a couple other MMEs near my neighborhood, and I think our Ford dealership in town sold out of their stock last year, unlike a lot of other dealerships. There are a bunch of Teslas and the occasional other EV.

In Central Florida, I see one or two Mach-Es a day when I'm out.

I usually see about 10 a week. They are pretty common here. I even saw my exact same color + config last night in a parking lot and thought it was mine lol. Broncos still outnumber Mach-Es 2-to-1 though.

I've seen 5+ Fisker Oceans in the wild. About 8-12 different Hummer EVs (including one last night that was parked over two spots - smh) and same number of Lyriqs. The only true rare EV is the Lucid.

Another factor you need to consider is gasoline prices. Who has the highest gas prices? The West Coast followed by the Northeast. Buying an EV with a state regulated price for fuel and a more efficient power train makes more sense than in other states. Plus you need to be more willing to try a new idea. Something that is less common in more conservative states.
No kidding about gas prices in Calif.

Has been $5/gallon for the longest time and now we are at $6/gallon!

EV sales are therefore pretty good and steady out here...

I can say this coming from a recent gas powered vehicle, or rather always driving a gas powered vehicle. I no longer look grab my GasBuddy card or military star card for discounts for gas, One of those drawers from your checking account or bank account and it’s so nice not having to monitor the checking account for stopping once a week at the gas station and filling up, it’s nice I just wait for my light bill to show up. And at .04cents kwhr.
I used to be one of those that said yes it’s nice that you don’t have to pay for the gas and it’s cheaper to drive the electric car, but you’re paying a lot more for that car than the gas powered car and the money you’re spending extra on the electric car you could be putting that money towards gas. But after thinking about it, I’m like I’d rather see the savings every month that I’m saving from not having to run to the gas pump. Cars are so expensive nowadays, for instance, the 24 California special Mustang I ordered that I canceled in lieu of buying my electric car was actually gonna cost more than this car, and then on top of that premium gas more insurance so for me it’s a win-win. I just enjoy driving by the convenience store. And hey so much crap going on this world I don’t mind avoiding inconvenience store.

On the left coast of Canada, we are sitting at $5.50 USD per gallon. In the summer we can expect up to $7.50 USD per gallon for regular unleaded. Our Carbon Tax applied to all fuels rose 23% April 1st. Home electric power is $0.09 for 1st 1350 kWh, in 2 month billing cycle, $0.14 for kWh over and above. DCFC is usually $.37 USD per minute.

Well your fuel prices are quite disturbing but your home electric rates are crazy low.

My house I pay $0.63/kWh in So Calif.

It's almost double of Tesla Supercharger pricing at $0.34/kWh.

Guess where I charge ?

I'm in Colorado close to Boulder and I've only seen 2-3 other Mach E's ever, and none of them gt's. What makes it even funnier is the few Mach e's we've seen were brand new with dealer temp plates. I see Teslas all over the place though which is funny because there isn't even a tesla supercharger in my city and only 1 DCFC fast charger. Gotta go all the way to Boulder to supercharge a Tesla.

Can also tell they're rare out here because i've gotten a few people approaching asking wtf it is and a lot of hard looks.

From the northeast here, New Jersey.....according to my dealer I was most likely the first Mach e in Bergen Cty back in '21 with my grey Select.......at that time very few EV's, Teslas yes but not as many......funny most all Teslas were white, then the multiple price drops and I started seeing many more colors......I got a new '23 Premium in June of '23......now many, many EV's including plug-in hybrids......

many many chargers all over the county, not yet including Teslas chargers, not available until we get the adapter......our gas prices just went up to $3.29/gal......but our electric is high, about $ 0.20/Kwh

our curse here is how close we are to everything, within 5 miles of my house 5 Home Depots, 3 Lowes, 3 major hospitals (not counting NYC), restaurants of all kinds.......I mention that because everything being close means that winter cold range doesn't affect me much......(I don't road trip much)

my red Premium still gets a lot of attention......I live alone so I go to food stores every day or two and most always end up talking about the car.....I see maybe 5 MME's a week......in a month I'll see at least 1 model of most EV's......

Today while I was charging, I saw a BMW that I’ve never seen before and I figured not from around here. If I had to describe it, it’s like a matte black boat. That thing was long & sleek. The windows were so black, You couldn’t even see through them at all, so I started talking to the guy, he was from Las Vegas, He’s a cannabis salesman lol. I asked him what did he pay for that car? $165,000. Should’ve taken a picture of it, but I was too busy trying to help him figure out which charging stations were working. Seemed the hyper 350 kW I was plugged into was the only one that was working decent and I happen to be finishing up so he got lucky.
