At this point do we have a list of borked module versions or anything what so ever to try to figure out the group that's actually got to worry about not using 1pd anymore?
I had my car done back in march and havn't had 1pd kick out ever. (that i can remember and I'm pretty sure I would remember it)
I believe the set of power train updates that are the culprit came out in early April, so you’re probably fine.

I can’t be the only one who finds it odd that Ford didn’t include telling the dealers to disable 1PD on effected vehicles that come in with the issue…? The safe bet, if you’re experiencing this bug, is to just turn it off until it’s fixed. Why would they risk that? Insane.

After a phone call, turns out they can't even get the part until the end of May and have no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the software issue that goes along with it.

I guess I'll just drive this car for another 2yrs with an open recall and sell it then
They just made the parts available this week, this has always been the plan with this recall. The fact they don’t see it’s on hold is concerning. @Mach-Lee, wouldn’t this be obvious to a service advisor?

In case you were curious what the error displayed looks like it happened to me yesterday. Was in a parking lot slowing down to turn down a lane and had my foot 75% off the pedal as I had to make a 90 degree turn. All of a sudden the brakes deactivated, and now my foot is technically pushing down the gas 25%. I accelerated quickly towards the car parked in front of me for a second before my brain clicked what happened and slammed on the brake pedal. Hopefully we have a fix before the end of “Early May,” but I am not sure if that will be accurate.

Can you confirm with your sources that this would also cause the uncommanded drive mode changes I'm seeing now? This is an old problem that got fixed a while back successfully, but has now re-emerged.
Glad I'm not the only one where this got noticably worse. Mike for me it started since I did the the BCM (24-PU0121-FTDI-FX equivalent) and APIM (6.14 equivalent) updates using FDRS in March.

It could well be Ford's hope. I'm wondering what the idea was really. "Hey lets make another EV but make it cool. Then lets see how we get the software to work. Well the software doesn't work, shitcan the car. Owners have moved on by now, hopefully."

Strategery! You don't survive 120 years in the auto business without learning a few tricks.

My MME has gotten this error 4 times in the past 2 days. This is not rare once it starts happening.

I even tried reprogramming the modules in FDRS. No dice. I got the error 2 blocks from home as I was regen braking with 1-Pedal.

I assume you turned 1pd off with that many errors. So this error displays even when 1pd is turned off?

This is the first time I’ve heard of the warning message.

Did the people who experienced the 1PD fault see this error prior to Ford’s acknowledgement of the issue?

Update May 4 - Ford has released new powertrain software and lifted the GVMS warnings. Yet to be seen if this fixes the 1PD issue, I don't want to be the first to try it ?

Just drove with the new powertrain software for about 20-30km and it’s been great. No 1PD faults. I will say the actual acceleration curve feels slightly different. More smooth, doesn’t jolt as much as it used to.

My car got reprogrammed the same day the of the stop order. I got the fault once a day later then nothing for a week and half. Yesterday I got it 4 times. Seems to only happen shortly after starting the vehicle so far.
Ford really needs to handle this fault better.disabling the accelerator after the fault so you don’t start accelerating randomly would be a good start. The accelerator can be reenabled once you fully let go of the pedal. Also, have an override so that if you have an oh shit moment and floor it it will respond as well. Not that hard.

I find your lack of adventure disturbing.
