Now I'm glad I didn't go with this car. I was very close to choosing the Volvo over the MME. I don't think it's a good value pick at all.

it's all in the comments. way overpriced, the screens, interior all look cheap. the range is less. Another review put it like this. Volvo makes a BEV and thinks because of their name customers will accept the Volvo price with and not compare to other models. Wrong.

This is what a multi-energy platform gets you - a compromised EV. Way, way too short of a range for that price. Even at the price, it's the "cheap" Volvo, and the interior shows it. They'll sell a few hundred to their loyalists and get some ZEV credits to offset the rest of their lineup while they're at it. This is definitely not going to be a bestseller.

That said, I really like the lava carpet option. Would be nice to have some color like that on offer in the Mach-E. I'd pay $100 for orange carpet in a heartbeat.

ya, even the reviewer said a lot of the sales will likely come from Volvo customers ending their leases, and stumbling across the Recharge in the showroom. When people compare the Volvo to other offerings, the choice should be clear.

About as much range as a standard battery Mach-E. Might as well pony up the extra cash for the Polestar 2
