'Charge to 100%' missing on new Fordpass, slider is poor replacement

Fordpass always had a 'Charge to 100%' button on the charge details screen when it was plugged in, and that button worked great for my use case - normally I have my charge set at 80%, but every couple weeks I need to charge to 100% for a trip, so I could hit the button. Importantly, the next time I plug in, it would default back to my normal 80% charge limit.

Am I missing something, or does the new redesigned Fordpass app not have this functionality anymore? Yes, I see the slider when I am plugged in, but if I change it to 100% that way then the next time I plug in it is STILL at 100%. That means I have to remember to go in and slide that back down to 80% after every 100% charge.

Fordpass was bad at a lot of of things, but this Charge to 100% button worked reliably and did exactly what I needed. And now it's just gone. Dumb.

I believe under the “Energy” tab you can tap ”Start” when your car is plugged in and then it‘ll charge to 100%. This worked for me.

I haven't noticed this change in fordpass? Is it a beta version?

Agreed. We've told Ford that we really want two buttons back:
Charge to 100%
Charge Now

Both used to be present.

Don't forget "depart in XX minutes"! Well, not back, but it's absurd the app doesn't have it.

My Fordpass app looks nothing like that. Assuming that is iOS while I'm on Android.

I have to assume that the new app is part of a beta test, but find it confusing that there are posts about it that don't mention this. On iOS, betas are usually run through TestFlight, so there would be no confusing them...

At some point it will change to the new view and you will be given a toggle at the bottom that lets you toggle between old and new view.

Others had the option for weeks before I got it last week.

I will go on record and admit that I actually like the direction the new app is going with the Mach-E. I'm literally witnessing the development and find it interesting.
I'm not happy though with the Powerboost F150 in the new version or the old version. It's been stripped of every feature that was Bluetooth dependent. I honestly believe that the Mach-E is (EV) getting far more focus during the current development stage.

I'm hoping that I start seeing similar things with the Powerboost at some point. I believe I will.

Yeah, it's not quite the same. This seems picky, but that button only changes to "start" once the car has charged to my set limit. Until then it shows as "stop".

The use case is that I want to come home at 50, have my limit set at 80, and plug in. Then, before I forget, I want to go into the app and have one button to press to make it go to 100% just for that one charge.

This start button requires that I wait until it reaches 80 before I start it again, and I'm likely to forget to do that, so I'll end up having to use the slider. Which is dumb.

I'm on Android, once I reach target charge the "Start" button appears on home screen. Agree, I would rather it be labelled "Charge to 100%"
