Ford Mustang Mach E GT Performance
Sold my wonderful 2021 Mach-E GT Performance for about $35,000. Someone got a really fast low mile sports car at a great price! Given the rapid drop it had been experiencing, I didn’t want to wait too long.

We wanted more ride height, more head and leg room in the second row, a bit more trunk space, and the sharp braking of the Mach E in the stop and go traffic, despite many service visits and brakes bedding was getting a little too annoying. Absolutely nothing else was wrong with the car.

I went with an ordinary EV, I no longer see heads turn! But it got us what we needed as a family car. I don’t miss the low ride height and seating but I absolutely miss the magneride suspension! Surprisingly, I don’t miss the half a second I lost in 0-60 time over the Mach E much, as its refined powertrain and buttery smooth braking experience more than makes up for it in my opinion.

What a wonderful forum this has been! So long! I hope our paths cross again. Cheers.

What “ordinary EV” did you end up with? I hope it works out for you. ??

Tesla has so many new cars on lots they can be seen from space - over 50,000 new cars stored in lots

Given the lack of mention of what he bought, it has to be a Tesla...

Gotta say all the Tesla cars are in fact insanely cool vehicles IMO.

It just a shame the CEO lost their way from a priority to save the world to now who knows what. Hope he eventually finds his way back.

Priority to save the world? That was his marketing at the time. Which worked on a few, but no longer works. So his marketing has moved on.

I think Musk has moved on to what he thinks are the “next big things” that can make a lot of money. Robo taxis and space flight, and fooling around with “X” as his megaphone. The cars are passé in his mind I suspect.

Maybe so. I don't do X, so I don't know what he posts on there.

Nor am I on X. Media accounts indicate he’s a regular on it, makes sense since he owns it and wants to promote it.

lol... tesla and cool should not be in the same sentence...unless the word not is in there also.

Example: "Gotta say all the Tesla cars are in fact insanely NOT cool vehicles IMO."

I use X for dog and racing stuff. I don’t see much of anything from outside of those circles, so I haven’t a clue as to what Elon posts there unless it makes the news. Then, I am like: “canines would not behave like this.” ?‍♂?

Ya, there are a lot of folks on here like to bad mouth Elon. Since he bought Twitter the media likes to bad mouth him also. So that is what is on the news. The media tries to sell news and sway opinion.

That’s for sure, canines are better behaved.

Most families have two cars for the reasons you point out. Our second car is a Lincoln Navigator L model. It's so big that it barely fits in the garage (only 12 inches to spare). Lots of leg room, rides like a living room couch, has 3 rows with lots of space. But only gets about 18 MPG.
