What do notifications for OTA updates look like in the new FordPass app?

I haven't received any OTA updates since March, and I miss the "what's new" in the old FordPass app, which used to show the most recent OTA update. But I don't have that anymore in the new FordPass app. (I do have that information on the Sync screen in the car). I was just curious what kind of notification you get in FordPass now when an OTA update arrives, and does is show the most recent update like it used to?

I have been thinking that OTA updates got paused with some issues that arose in some cars after a particular update this Spring, or maybe paused because of NTSB investigations into accidents where BC might have been involved. But now I see people are getting updates again. I pulled fault codes in Car Scanner yesterday and there were none. And my 12V SOC has been hovering around 90%, so it doesn't look like I have had any failed updates, but I'm not entirely sure.

FWIW, I'm not one of the people who rabidly is watching for OTA updates and stressing that I'm being left behind, or anything, but it does seem a bit curious that I haven't had any in about 3 months...

Go to the settings menu in the new FordPass then tap Software Updates. That will show what’s pending or the last installed update as the case may be.

Same. I haven't received an update since the Tesla charger one on march 7.

Gotcha, thanks, that's what I was wondering... Right now, under Settings -> Software Updates, I only have Automatic Updates (on/off) and Recurring Schedule configuration.

So it does display the last installed update on that screen, once it has received an update? And I'm guessing it gives you some sort of indication or notification on the Vehicle home screen, like it used to as well?

@ReverendPete, I received an OTA in mid-May. That one didn’t appear in FP5.0. I just received an OTA yesterday, and this showed up on the vehicle page:

So in my FP there is no RELEASE NOTES and no Update details. From what I read in the Forum, a lot of users hadn't received the complete version of FP. Is this the issue?

My FordPass app still shows April 5 as my last OTA, which I know to be incorrect since I have manually started two updates since then when I parked in my driveway. ?‍?

I have fordpass installed on an iphone (work) and android (personal). Both signed in with same account.

On the iphone it shows the last update was 5-25-2024 and was the 6.14 update. On my android it shows last update was 5-30-2024 and is the BLM-PE update. Which is also what the car shows as the most recent update.

Mine didn't have anything either until I got my first OTA after being on the new UI.
