@redranger04g

Forgot to mention:

Lift springs for the SR RWD w/ NCM batteries is not available from Eibach nor recommended.

Eibach used mine as a test vehicle and said that the weight is less and the lift springs will not level.

They modified the springs to make it work on my SR RWD NCM and said that mine will be a one of a kind Eibach lifted Mach E. So it has a 2" lift all the way around; unlike 1.5" for the AWD, ER, and GT.

However, if it's a LFP battery (post Job 2), then it will work fine.
Thanks, good to know. I threw that option out anyways since it’s the same linear spring although longer. I have a 2022 so SR NCM.

@markboris I got a new idea with the review of the Mach-E Rally reviews coming out. Swap the "softer" (as stated by ford) springs into a Premium SR RWD. Since suspension travel isn't increased in the rally, ride height should be similar (maybe small lift due to my vehicle being a SR). In any case, once Tasca starts showing these parts I may have to be the guinea pig and try this out since it should only cost a few hundred bucks and a couple of hours to swap the rear springs.

I believe you asked in an earlier post if Eibach has any intentions of making a progressive spring that was not lowering and when I asked them earlier this year, they said no. These Rally springs might be a good fit but I doubt there are progressive so if they are just a little softer, it might not be as good as the progressive Eibach springs.

Was looking to get the springs and sway bars to try to increase my ground clearance since I have noticed I have been hitting the front spoiler a bit on some deep bumps near my house. With anyone that has a similar mods, has the battery life been after using the car for awhile? Trying to see if the 15% reduction in battery is worth the tradeoff

My Eibach lifted and anti roll sway bars loses about 8% range at highway speeds and none at urban low speed driving (5 days a week).

Love the 2" lift as it clears a lot of the tall curbs where I park on the street.

And the best part is the ride is so much better (compliant) than the stock springs....

I think I was getting 10-15% reductions driving uphill on the highways between SF and LA, so that’s probably a worst case senario tbh.

I loved the lift for the short time I had it though! The car became more of a Mach E and less of a mustang (if that makes sense lol). It was awesome on the backroads of Joshua Tree and if the springs were progressive, they’d still be on the car.

That being said, my lightly used Eibach lift springs are just taking up space in my garage if you (or anyone else) are interested in them!

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. All the above is exactly what I am saying and starting with the bars to tighten up the handling is all you may need if you are happy with everything else.
Mark, I believe in another thread you referenced images from a MME shop manual. From the manual or your experience, if have time, what would you say are good torque values for the MME anti roll bar bracket nuts and for the end links? My web surfing has not discovered the values. Thanks much,

85 ft. Lbs for the end link nuts. Bracket nuts not sure and you can’t really get a torque wrench in there anyway. I just tighten them up really snug. Probably around 35 ft lbs.

Thanks Mark. I apologize for the tardy thanks but for whatever reason I didn’t see the response until today.

Questions about the camber adjustment…

I am not changing struts/springs/shocks, only adding the Eibach F/R anti roll bars to my 23.5 Premium 4 X.

Questions are: does OEM configuration have provision for camber adjustment?, and; even if not, is it worth adding the camber adjusters since that top bolt on the knuckle/strut connection should be accessible with the wheels off?

I think my quick web search showed the adjuster set was only $25-$30 depending on source. Cheap enough. I also think the answer may depend on what any given driver wants out of the car. I like a car that can handle even if I don’t regularly exploit its capabilities. That said, there are some fine roads across the mountains in VA into WV where fun can be had to and from skiing when the roads are dry.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on the camber adjustment bolts.

Thanks again

Thanks Mark. Sounds like a plan!!

Is there a torque value for the 2 knuckle/strut bolts?
The OEM bolts are to be torqued to 173 ft. lbs. If you replace the upper bolts with the adjustable camber bolts, follow the torque setting in their instructions which is usually around 125 for the ones I have used.

Hi,

Read through this thread and considering the lift springs for my GT. I know earlier in the thread it was questioned why one would want to lift a GT, but I prefer the extra clearance. Actually, got the GT because that was only available trim in my region at the time - otherwise would have gone Premium.

Is there any reason to think the Eibach Lift Kit won't fit a GT? I know Eibach doesn't list it as an option.

Is it also worth adding the sway bars?

Thanks.

After 6 months driving with Eibach lift springs and anti roll sway bars, I have to say I love the ride.

Much less bounciness and more firm planted feel around corners.

Ride is more 1990's BMW RWD biased cornering & power turns.

High speed driving confidence is inspiring with commanding view and stable sway bars.

And I no longer scrape the front air dam, doors on tall curbs, and have a better approach angle.

Contact Eibach and ask about your fitment - I believe the GT will work but the GTPE won't, although there are a few that have used Eibach springs in their GTPE.
