Hello I recently bought a 2023 Mach E and ran into a few issues with the Audio Off on the stereo and this lead me down a rabbit hole. I disconnected the negative on the battery terminal which seems to have reset the audio issue. Also noticed on my ford account the 12v battery seemed to be losing SOC rather quickly and went into battery saver mode when I left it overnight not charging. Would any of these SW update impact the Audio off and potentially the battery issue? Guessing battery maybe bad since it was a 2023 and was probably sitting for some time on the dealer lot.

There will always be *a lot* remaining unless you use FDRS or have your dealer apply them. As long as your car is running fine you don't *need* any of these.

Haha, usually people ask for what updates their cars have and what it could fix before investing in the hardware and license. All that you have should address some, if not all, the issues you mentioned, otherwise, you have bigger issues that software can't fix.

Your car is fine. I know you're new here and there's a lot of info to take in, but these things are not like your phone or computer where you can install the pending updates on command. The OTA process randomly sends out updates with no rhyme or reason. It could be a few days, weeks or even months before you receive anything. As far as your car goes, the modem is properly activated and your car is talking to the servers just fine. Ford does not pay dealers to update modules just because they are out of date. While some people have gotten lucky and the dealer has updated the vehicle for them, this is rare and a dealer visit to get them to update your car usually ends up being a frustrating waste of time.

The 4.x.x series of updates is what most new 2023 owners report getting when they first get their cars. Since you bought it on 5/29, you've gotten 3 updates, so that's not bad in the grand scope of how these things work. You are on Sync 23031 which is 2-3 versions behind the latest version depending on what Ford has available for you in terms of updates. Aside from all the modules with a green dot below, you're also missing several APIM, GWM, TCU and IPC updates. So you are pretty far behind from being fully up to date.

As a new owner, try not to fall into the "I'm out of date" rabbit hole as it can ruin your ownership experience. If you're happy with your car, then enjoy it knowing there are improvements that you will eventually get.
