Tesla should contract with Foxconn to make these, if they did they probably could knock them all out in a few months. If Foxconn can make hundred of thousands of iPhones in a few month the adapter should be a breeze for them to make.

So I just did a little quick math and seeing how they are shipping less than a thousand adaptors a month give or take and my order is 85xxx. My calculations tell me we will get our adaptor in about 7 years or so?

Don’t know and I have not asked to be honest. I kind of just need something that works in early August for a trip. I ordered last Sunday and the email I received said 5-10 business days to ship.

No other communication from them, I guess we shall see what I get.

I also have a Hyundai EV and I doubt they will hand out an adapter so I guess that buying one somewhat inevitable.

IMO, what they told you (if you actually conversed with them vs. just checking status online) is meaningless. Why?

- They clearly didn't get the expected volume up to end of June.
- Elon fired the staff AFTER Ford set the expectations for delivery.
- June people just got bumped to July.
- It appears that later people didn't yet get bumped that I've noticed. I expect July people to get bumped to August, but not until late in July. Then August people to get bumped to September, ...

I don't think a September person is going to get bumped much before mid to late August.

Yep, this is why I said earlier to use the date you were originally sent and add 1-2 months. From what I've seen, Ford didn't notify anyone that their shipment was delayed until after their estimated ship month ended, with the exception of the May estimates dropping to June. The May delayed to June estimates that didn't ship in June weren't notified until after July began. Likewise, the original June estimates were also not notified of their delay until after July began. An original August estimate isn't going to get notified of a delay until September begins. ??

The happy thing is that those with October estimates probably have an accurate month. Just add one year.

I have order number 14820 and I had an estimated ship month of July. 2 days ago I got bumped to August no email notice, I just happened to check in on it

Mine is 52291 and it says August 2024. Unless they are getting a huge batch soon, it seems unlikely.

Mine still shows August but I don't think I will see it in 2024.
