Is anyone else running the Android 15 beta? Curious if it's a "my car" issue or if it's an "Android 15 beta" issue that I should report.

My Android app version was 5.2 when I first noticed the issue, and I've since received 5.3, but I still can't connect via bluetooth. The "Controls" button on the Fordpass app home screen is light gray and when I tap it to open the Remote Controls it shows as "Disconnected." I've tried the usual things, clearing Fordpass app cache and data, rebooting, making sure all available software updates have been applied, and so on. I haven't tried pulling a fuse yet and wanted to see if anyone else could corroborate my issue.

I've been running it on my Pixel Fold since beta 2 without issue. FordPass has been good the whole time.

Thanks for confirming. I've got a P8 Pro as well so this definitely seems like it's more likely to be "my car." I've got the BC 1.3 update queued up to install. If it's not magically fixed after the update I guess I need to figure out how to pull the right fuse as a next step...

Pixel 8 Pro and 15 beta as well. Monitoring a Mach e and a Lightning. No issues.

I do have one issue. When I screen tap the Mic in Android Auto, it seems to double tap and is not responsive to voice commands. Okay and Hey Google has also stopped working.

I have three year old Apple Iphone SE. I used to be able to connect via bluetooth.
Not anymore. I have to use the USB wired to use carplay.
My wife has a newer Apple Iphone and she connects immediately when she gets into the car.
Since updates to the phone and updates to the MME are not coordinated, you can expect troubles.
That's why, I would never trust "phone-as-a-key."

Good news (for me) is I was able to fix my problem without needing to pull any fuses (but in a way that was not obvious to me).

I have PAAK set up but don't really use it / rely on it so I didn't think of this at first, but today I decided to go to my profile (in the car / Sync) and unlink my phone. Then I went to my phone app settings, and when I selected PAAK it reported that my "key was corrupt" or something to that effect. It prompted me to set up PAAK once again, and once it had finished downloading the key, my Bluetooth controls immediately started working again!

Are you using the standard Google Assistant or Gemini? I use Google Assistant, and I find the voice assistant to be a bit glitchy / unreliable, but I've chalked it up to spending most of my time in spotty cell coverage areas. It does seem to work at least some of the time for me, but I will do some more testing.

My regular Bluetooth connection (for Android Auto and streaming music, etc.) continued to work fine, which is also why I was puzzled by the BT controls not working. As I wrote up at the top, I finally figured out it was tied to the PAAK setup itself.
