BlueCruise: How does In-Lane Repositioning work?

I've been using BC 1.3 for a few weeks and it works great
However I haven't noticed line repositioning in action. It always passed trucks exactly the way it did before. Do I need to change some options or how and in what situations does it work?

The change in the actual lane position is subtle. But you'll know when it's happening because the image of the car in your IPC shifts to the left.

You have to be in BC Hands Free mode and have In Lane Repositioning enabled in the SYNC screen.

You'll see the vehicle icon shift on the IPC when it's working, agree it is subtle. Lane repositioning works if there is a vehicle in the other lane that is close to the lane line. It works for more than just semi-trucks.

Ah yeah, it looks like your missing the update that adds the other options. The screen should look like this.

Not 100% sure. But looking back I see that 6.2.1 (for 2021 Mach-Es a.k.a. 23-PU1103-NAC-VCE for newer Mach-Es) was the last APIM (SYNC) update I got about a month before the BC OTA update.
