Three of four Tire Pressure sensors blowing in 3 days

I have a Job 1 2021 with about 28000 miles in it. I got new rims 3 years ago, and this week, on three consecutive days, a TPMS sensor stopped reporting to the car. TPMS batteries are supposed to last much longer than I’ve had the car, so I’m wondering if anyone has ideas about what may have happened here.

that is odd, typically they will go for 100k miles or about 7 years

Do you know how to tell if it’s the car or if it’s the tpms dongles? Multiple devices breaking basically simultaneously suggests it isn’t the dongle. But I don’t know how to tell.

On the Mach E they are attached to the back of the valve stem. It's called a snap in sensor

You need test equipment to see what is happening. Take it to the shop that installed the wheels and have them check it out. Some aftermarket sensors won't last as long so who knows

I'd bet this is an issue with the car system not the individual tpms, the odds on three failing within days of each other are astronomical.

I had 3 OTAs today and now my sensors are not reporting pressure . Any updates in yer timeframe ?

Just went out to see if taking a short ride would kickstart reporting again . They came back "online" all by themselves ....but it WAS update related because I happened to have tire pressure screen up while OTA was downloading and I noticed them going "offline".

Once you drive for a few minutes they'll come back.
