No no like I had someone use a battery tester on it.
It is very difficult to measure capacity on an AGM battery without proper super expensive battery tester or running a known load for a couple hours. Most battery testers measure cold cranking amps for just a few seconds, that does not really relate to the way we need 12 volt battery capacity very well. If you're factory battery is more than 36 months old, you would be well advised to plan on replacing it soon

Ah I see. I'll have them do that.

Hi everyone. So driving to work today and after driving about a half mile I got a SSN message along with the red battery icon. Car wouldn't go into drive or neutral for about a half hour. It was towed to dealer after car went in neutral but I have no idea whats wrong with it. Its a Jan 21' build date and on the OG 12V battery.

If anyone has ideas let me know.
Welcome to the team, my 21 had the same thing happen and its been in the shop for 2 weeks. I don't think service knows how to fix.

So dealer ran test on the 12V battery and its fine and not needing replacement yet. They are looking at it on Monday some more. Car is stuck in park and the HV battery is still disabled

So the fix is a new main body harness. My 12V did die though after sitting all week lol.

Nine days just to figure out what is wrong? Then God only knows how long to fix it. My condolences.

So the tech was out sick until Saturday. They started working on it Monday and I think they thought they could get away with a repair instead of replacement.

Whats interesting is ESP isn't paying for it rather the airbag/restraint warranty is

Did a mouse chew on the wiring?
No clue. Dealer did work on subframe and part of the main body harness before but they thought it was a failure in the front of the car where they didn't do work
