yeah I LOL'd when I saw him say he was "barely getting by"............ but when you're a billionaire you can create any kind of fiction and convince people of it.

Once money no longer feeds your ego you have to milk it from people somehow.

But the internet has turned out to have very little credibility. That much has been proven. Countlessly so.

Keep in mind this was a simple aside to the general tangent to the side discussion to main discussion. Ummm … We were having a generally light conversation about the off track comment about whether The Oracle of Pretoria had intentionally derailed the adapter production or distribution to Ford, et al. I personally didn’t take the comments as anything other than sarcasm or humorous.

Perhaps we should run a thread or poll to see who comes closest to the actual next shipment date of the official adapters. Winner gets forum bragging rights for a day.

wouldn't even attempt to guess when the next adapters ship out from ford. I've already gotten mine but feel for the people still waiting

Maybe Ford forgot whom they're dealing with. I mean, if what you're saying is correct, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, is someone Ford calling Elmo's reps to ask what the heck is going on? Maybe Jim Farley is too busy driving around Europe in a Ford E Transit van.

perhaps rivian’s deal with tesla is more lucrative than the ford deal and he who cannot be named directs his worker bees to prioritize rivian under the implied or express threat of termination if they fail to obey. I’m inclined to think any contract terms to the contrary wouldn’t cause he who cannot be named any sleep.

Or maybe everyone agreed to the shipping pattern and it is just what it is.

My order # 75,100 estimated ship by date remains September, 2024 … the people charged with maintaining that data probably have absolutely no idea what revised date to use, which isn’t their fault.

It might, or might not, make for an interesting business school analysis to dissect this after the dust settles if you could get honest information to review.

I’m certain none of us should hold our breath waiting for a delivery. That could have a material adverse affect on one’s lifespan ?.
