So it sounds like my Juicebox will continue to charge, but I won't be able to adjust any settings. For example, normally I adjust the number of amps the unit is charging at. I guess the unit will continue to charge at the number of amps that it was last set at?

Am I correct that I won't be able to adjust the amps after the app is disabled?
Yes, better set it to a final value like 40A ASAP.

That was my first thought too, only the respect to NYSEG’s program for Hudson Valley counties in NY. I bought this charger through an offering via that utility. Hope the class action lawsuits are already being drafted.
Class action suits? Against who? Company is shutting down...

It will charge at the default for your unit. You will not be able to adjust it.

Luckily I never needed to be disappointed by Enel-X’s bad customer service. As with all my other electronics, I’ll use my JuiceBox 32 until it dies.

When the unit is powered off with a breaker (or unplugged), I BELIEVE it is at factory defaults when it comes back on, and then downloads settings from the web. So, it will simply operate at factory default settings.

You should read the letter.

It means it's dead, gone, no longer a company. Hardware will default to factory settings. No service, no customer support. Done.
I went to the Juicebox website and read the letter. While I am out of warranty and honestly just use it as a "Dumb Charger" anyway it's not a huge deal for me. Although, if something goes awry, instead of having a support tech to call you are SOL.

What about the people that recently bought a charger? I'm sure there must be a one year warranty or so on the product; how can they just "jump ship" on there recent customers? I'm sensing some attorneys will be contacted.

This explains why Enel X built a DCFC in Yakima, WA but never turned it on.

Have you never seen a company go out of business? No warranty. They are shutting down their US company. Gone. Done. Nada.

I guess Tom @State of Charge will have to remove them from his preferred list. ? ?

Hard to sue a business that no longer exists.

Another sunset industry in today's economy. I will continue to use my JuiceBox as a dumb EVSE.

I guess in my line of work; you can't get "out of it" so easy. You have to purchase "Tail" insurance even after you go out of business or retire.

Yes, unless inside the unit there are DIP switches.
Thanks. That's doubtful IMHO, since it's software-controllable. But my curiosity may get the better of me one of these days.

I took a look at the Juicebox manual and went to my unit and don’t see anyway to open it and the manual does not discuss anything about dip switches
