I see it referenced here and there, but couldn't find a definitive thread talking about @Ford Motor Company seemingly ceasing any updates to 2021s. Obviously the lack of updates to BlueCruise is infuriating (and may well be part of the reason they seem to have abandoned any sort of other updates to the first year cars), but reading posts about other years continuing to get updates (including BC updates) is frustrating.

Is there a singular spot this is being discussed? Has @Ford Motor Company addressed it somewhere I've missed? I apologize in advance if this topic is duplicative.

I have a Job 1 car, and don't think there's been anything since May/June timeframe.

There has to be a stoppage. Not sure if its been discussed or not but, the 2024 holiday season is fast approaching. That means we probably wont see updates for 2021 job 1s until next year. My guess is Summer 2025? Right around when im planning on selling my mme

my last update was june but as far as i can tell there is no specific stoppage. as recently as the past couple of weeks there were 2021 non-EA cars that received 10.xx for BC

also not sure why the other poster said no updates until 2025 because of holidays, in all prior years cars received updates throughout the holiday season

IN the previous years there were updates because Ford staff canceled holiday plans to fix bugs. I doubt thats happening twice in a row.

The 2021 cars have not been abandoned just yet. The last I heard there were still plans to push BC 1.3 to 2021 mach-e's. I have no idea what happens after that.

So it does not work in your car? Or you just don't have "the latest and greatest?"
I would not have purchased the renewal if I knew I would be stuck with the existing package for this long.
Yes, there is some degree of shame on me for hoping the update would come. However, at the end of our subscription earlier this year, we were given the impression that our price would not be valid if we let it expire.
So here I am, wasting my money on a product I don't want, hoping that the promised update comes...

I have a ‘21 also. My Last update was in June also, but the only update i seem to be missing is the BC 1.3 which is on hold i think. Just because you see people posting updates doesnt mean your car is behind. Alot of the updates i see being posted are ones i already have or it’s for BC that they are trying to get to us.

There was also a TSB i saw that went out for dealers to update the car if the ‘21’s hadn’t recieved an update in awhile. Thats kind of confusing because what have no have been scheduled? How do we know its an issues.

That's the thing, many (all?) of us 2021 were offered a discounted rate to re-up BC for three years - simultaneously Ford was posting that BC updates were imminent, with no mention of it being model year specific.

In any case, I'm a big boy and made the decision to re-up not fully knowing when the updates would come - so while I'm not going to stomp my feet and hold my breath about it, it does feel like a strange F U to the first year folks to not even communicate about delayed updates on early production runs....let alone actually dedicate resources to make sure they happen.

And to @DYohn, it DOES mean something if a specific group of cars has not received the "latest and greatest" AND all general updates for that same group have all coincidentally stopped.

Much like the ongoing adapter fiasco, a little bit of communication goes a long way - and for some reason Ford doesn't seem to agree with that (despite the early adopters being pretty important to the launch and immediate feedback of their new vehicle platform).

2021 Job2 car. My FordPass tells me my last update was in November of last year. It is incorrect. I received updates in March and May of this year. I’m probably firing up the FDRS right now for the first time in a while during the Thanksgiving weekend. Sooner if I hear about anything interesting coming out before then. ?‍♂?

Perhaps this has been answered before.........

Is there a significant hardware and/or software difference between 2021, 2022, 2023?

Seems odd that the first, second, and third year of a vehicle would have significantly different systems?

What am I missing?
