On September 22, 2024 at 2:47 am, someone backs in to my Mach-E while it was parked unoccupied, my Garmin 67W dashcam was set to Parking Mode. A driver backs in my car. (Click on link for video). All the occupants get out to see the damage and then walks away as if nothing happened. Needless to say I was pissed when I saw the video. I contact Hertz the next day. Hertz reached out to me 2 weeks later. They saw the video and accepted fully responsibility and covered the damages to my vehicle.
I've read so many post about the Electrical System Drain on our Mach-E's and seems like everyone suggests to wire your dashcam on ignition on only. I have my dashcam set to always on and recording, and yes, I get the dreaded Electrical Drain message a few times a month but I just ignore it.
In case you are wondering what about my setup, here is what I'm using:
Garmin 67W - Front
Garmin Mini 2 - Rear
Garmin Constant Power Cable
