I HOPE they'd up the notch on the performance aspect of things on the GT instead of adding unnecessary luxury items. No need for cooled seats on a GT. Go buy a Lexus gramps.

Wish list:

- Better steering wheel adjustments (range of motion... tilt/telescope)
- better suspension options
- Wider wheels and tires
- lower vehicle stance
- better battery and motor cooling
- funEV sounds / customizable ev sounds ... Mach-E 1400 anyone?
- lower steering ratio
- better steering wheel / road feedback
Gee, if you want a McLaren, you’re in the WRONG place ???

I'd be happy if it has a roof screen. You know like normal modern vehicles. Why EVs come with these massive pano roof that turn a vehicle into an oven in the summer?

I live in the tropics. That thing has never been an oven . YMMV.

I’d love some fabric seats with cooling.

If Ford is listening……

Increased performance and ventilated seats were enough for me to start thinking about upgrading to a 2025 GT.

Lack of ventilated seats is enough for me to keep my 2021 GTPE.

Changing the seat material should be an easy no brainer.

Add a “luxury package” with real leather seats, a few more adjustments and ventilation for $3k and I would definitely be interested.

Do car manufacturers really have to be reminded that “seat comfort” is really important?

You make good points. Actually, I’ve often thought that Ford could probably make some additional money by taking the existing GTPE, developing a coupe body style reminiscent of the old Lincoln Mark series, slather it in dead animal hides and various crystal bits and bobs, maybe make a “Taylor and Travis” edition or something equally silly, and charge an arm and a leg for it.

that just hasn't been my experience. On both my 21 and 23 that I currently have. The coating seems to eliminate most of the heat, the glass itself gets hot but it doesn't seem to affect the cabin. I live in West Georgia it gets plenty hot here.
Here is article about the comfort sky coating:

I can personally attest that the pano roof in the Mach-E does not turn the interior into an oven. The heat rejection is very very very good. No need for a screen. My Highlander Hybrid has a pano sunroof with an integrated cover. The interior of that car gets significantly hotter than the interior of the Mach-E when both are parked in the sun as verified by a thermometer.

I have long believed this, and it's not just Ford that's missing a trick here. Carmakers seem to think they have to compensate for the extra cost of electric drive by cheaping out on other aspects of the car. You assume big companies know their business, but this just seems crazy to me. I think a lot of EV customers would gladly pay more for luxury features. Making money with overpriced options is a time-honored auto industry tradition, isn't it? Take my money, please!

So, they do have smaller frunks, I think. It might be because of the way the radiator is angled and possibly also because of the heat pump. Maybe they’re Tesla Model Y size? I haven’t seen one. Ask @ChasingCoral, I think he might have.

The good news is that the premium is the only trim line with heated and ventilated seats in 2025. The bad news is, there are no other trim lines with heated and ventilated seats, infinite blue still doesn’t exist, and rapid red sleeps with the fishes.
Definitely smaller frunks to make room for the heat pump. It’s more or less Tesla-sized.
