If Ford is listening……

Increased performance and ventilated seats were enough for me to start thinking about upgrading to a 2025 GT.

Lack of ventilated seats is enough for me to keep my 2021 GTPE.

Changing the seat material should be an easy no brainer.

Add a “luxury package” with real leather seats, a few more adjustments and ventilation for $3k and I would definitely be interested.

Do car manufacturers really have to be reminded that “seat comfort” is really important?
100% same boat. I was seriously considering upgrading but no ventilated seats are a dealbreaker for me. I'm certainly not unhappy with my 22 but the improved performance, ventilated seats, and heat pump were enticing. The smaller frunk hurts though, I use mine all of the time.

For now I'll continue to use my goofy Amazon seat ventilator thingamabob.

I’ll just get me some more ventilated shorts?

I find the IR rejecting glass in the mach e works pretty well, all this gnashing of teeth around this is curious to me, I've left mine out in the sun at 100+ degrees and it's just..fine...

maybe make a “Taylor and Travis” edition or something equally silly, and charge an arm and a leg for it.
I would be happy for a Sage and Grady edition. ??

Definitely smaller frunks to make room for the heat pump. It’s more or less Tesla-sized.

Thanks Mark. I think this would work for most of the use I make of the frunk. It’s not ideal imo but more than adequate. Beats the heck out of the i4 and EV6 frunks too. Oh wait …. One doesn’t have a frunk, the other has a shelf.

The ideal Mach-e frunk size imo is:

@Ford Motor Company, get started on this for 2026 Ok? ;)

Had ventilated seats. They are overrated. Soggy cold wet bottom. No thanks.

I thought the Tesla frunk was large enough to hold a rollaboard? I’m not sure the MY25 is “rollaboard-sized”.

Not sure about roll boards, but I can fit a grocery bag vertically in the ‘21-‘24 frunk. Not sure you can do this in the ‘25+. ??

The 2016 or so Model S had a good sized frunk. The new models not so much, small.

Don't have to call it KingRanch or Platinum, but do a KingRanch or Platinum type motif on the interior touch points and seats. Something Ford Premium, so to speak.
Doesn't have to be German or Italian expensive.

In an F150, you can also choose the trim level and still choose the powertrain independently as well. So?

Why not for the Mach-E and allow some additional flexibility with feature combinations. At this point in the Mach-E lifespan, casting a little wider sales net seems like a reasonable strategy.

I guess so, as airline seats seem to have forgotten that padding in the seats is also something we want.

Maybe he should check back in 2026?
Alexa, remind me in 2026 why I gave up on Ford.

Crazy they didn't incorporate the ventilated seats in the GT if they are putting them in the

I compare the features of my 2008 BMW 335i and 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit to my 2023 GTPE. Let's all remember that the MSRP was originally $72k!! No cooled seats, no auto-dimming side mirrors, limited adjustability on the seats, no options for gauge cluster layout, can't change suspension/power/steering modes individually, etc. I have a 15" center screen and can't even see the radio and factory navigation at the same time. These are all things I could do on my vehicles that are 10+ years older.

I honestly think Ford treated the Mach-E as a "we'll put minimal effort into building an EV and the masses will throw money at us". They are doing the bare minimum to improve the car in the last 4 years since it came out, all the while lowering the price which screws over past buyers. I've had my car for less than a year and it will likely prevent me from buying any Ford ever again (I've owned two mustangs and my parents have bought Fords their entire life).
