The only ones that are being replaced are ones made/sent out in late-May/June.

EDIT: The OP reporting 59XXX was incorrect. Ignore the rest of my post about increased production.

WOW. I got my shipping notification 11/12, order 29885. THREE DAYS ago. It took them 8 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days to ship ~30,000 adapters. In three days Ford has doubled the number of adapters shipped.

Pre Nov 12: 30,000 adapters / 36.5 weeks = ~820 adapters/week

The last 3 days: 30,000 adapters / 0.43 weeks = 69,930 adapters/week

I doubt this rate will be steady, there will likely be bulk shipments from Lectron. I'm amazed at how inefficient Tesla is at producing these.

the lectron/ford developed adapter has to have had a big impact on production. It seems lectron has better more efficient production on these than tesla. So they should get thru the backlog pretty quick. As an aside. My first adapter was in the june shipments and was recalled a few weeks ago, got notice yesterday a new one has been shipped, curious to see if it's lectron or tesla. I'd be happier with the lectron.

Anyone think they'll start giving them away again once they get thru the backlog? Probably not. I am outside the window and will hardly ever use public chargers but it would be nice to have one just in case.

I don't know where you are coming up with this. I haven't seen an order number exceeding 29,XXX. Ford has not shipped another 30,000.

Well…I ordered mine on Feb 29, Ford acknowledged the order in March. My order number is in the 33 thousands…Still says “will ship in November”

Previously it was expected in June, July, September, January 2025, now back to “ship by November 2024”

I am glad you got yours…just don’t understand the Ford order system.

The thread starter says they got a notification for order number 59859. Assuming they are continuing to ship in order 59859 - 29885 = 29,974 = ~30,000
