Same happened to me. I just found a shop connected to a Ford dealer and no problem.

Hydrogen cars. ?Because they could blow at any time!! One minute you're just minding your own business, driving around, and.....BOOM! Hindenburg....
Oh, the humanity....
Mobile PDR for the ding.My solution is to not get fixed that tiny but oh-so-visible door ding and scratch on my rear right side door. (Well, actually it’s because I’m cheap.)
Indeed, but still ~$350 just for the ding and I’d still need (want) to get the scratch repaired. I can’t be bothered to do it.Mobile PDR for the ding.
Ok that’s one thing that’s more expensive there than here. I had PDR for one ding on Otto, $125.Indeed, but still ~$350 just for the ding and I’d still need (want) to get the scratch repaired. I can’t be bothered to do it.
(I know, I need to hang my head in shame as I do a forum timeout or something?)
The fact that it’s right on the crease certainly didn’t helpOk that’s one thing that’s more expensive there than here. I had PDR for one ding on Otto, $125.
Oh I empathize. Mine was vandalism across the drivers side door crease. A clenched fist smashed against it several times. Perhaps not as bad as yours though. The fact that it’s right on the crease certainly didn’t help
No, yours sounds way, way worse. Mine is just an innocent door ding. But yeah stuff is very expensive here...Oh I empathize. Mine was vandalism across the drivers side door crease. A clenched fist smashed against it several times. Perhaps not as bad as yours though.
You planned to submit body work… to fix a small scratch on your door… to your insurance? Do you know what that will do to your deductible?Curious how many of you have run into this. I have a small scratch on my door from a rock I wanted fixed. My insurance has already quoted it.
I'm with ya brother. Last Xmas some a-hole keyed my car from door-to-door on the passenger side. A real angry gouge. The estimate to fix it was $1,500. No way was I gonna give that guy the satisfaction of lightening my wallet by that much so I just left it. I consider it a battle scar now and rarely notice it.Indeed, but still ~$350 just for the ding and I’d still need (want) to get the scratch repaired. I can’t be bothered to do it.
