HIJACK! HIJACK! HIJACK! HIJACK!

I traded my 2021 GT-PE for a 2024 GT with the Performance Upgrade. I got the dealer to swap the wheels and tires over like @markboris did. I was able to locate one of the last Grabber Blue Metallic GTs with a metal roof. And now I have 360 cameras, so I guess I have to stop making jokes about not knowing what they are. ??

Oh, and that new car smell! ??

These photos were from before they swapped the wheels. More photos and comments to come. ??

You guys are nuts. Are you leasing or financing?

Leasing as the rebates were much higher.
I thought you did. Pudel probably did too. When I got mine at the end of Feb, leasing was par with financing, but financing was 0% so I went with that.

Yes last month financing had better rebates than leasing plus 0%. This month leasing has better deals.

Last month I financed mine (traded in 2021 Premium for 2024 GT) because the rebates on Ford leasing were not as good.

Yes, leasing due to the incentives. The only thing I didn’t like was that I wanted to put more down on the car than I was allowed to under the lease. I know the lease is at 0% and that financially I am better off putting down as little as possible, but I hate making big payments. I just wanted to get the lease payments down more. LOL! ??

Something I just noticed: The car had 3 paid options on it. Performance Upgrade, color, and the Ford Mobile Charger (FMC). The FMC didn’t come in a zippered bag like my 2021’s FMC did. Hell, my $250 Tesla Mobile Connector (they’re too bougey to call it a charger, but it’s half the price of the FMC) is a better unit and it came in a nicer bag than my old FMC did. ?‍♂?

Yeah, mine came in the plastic bag too. Ah, who cares, I guess, it’s a rental.
I actually had to make them get one. There wasn’t one in the car even though it was on the sticker - last item on my delivery checklist.

It seems like several people on this forum have recently upgraded to a 2024 GT either by choice or in my case because of an accident. I also switched the wheels from my 2022 GTPE to the new car. I don't often drive in a way where I noticed the 5 second limit, but I do feel as if the new car is slightly stiffer than my old one.

Congrats! Sounds like you had a great experience and got exactly what you wanted. *higjack* My 21 Grabber Blue GT was purchased under the Ford Options program. Since the buyout ($27k) was more than the value, I decided I would turn it in. But I love the car so much, I decided to get another MME. Wanted a '25 in Velocity Blue, but the timing wouldn't work. Grabber Blue is the only color in the MME lineup I like, but I didn't want to get the exact same car. So I found a 24 GT with all of the features I wanted in Vapor Blue and then had it wrapped.
I haven't driven it much yet, but I don't love it as much as my '21. It might just be a breaking in/getting used to it thing. The seats don't feel as comfortable and the steering wheel feels a little thinner. I hope I end up loving it as much as my '21. It's truly a great car!
