I've got BlueCruise 1.3, and although I always use the driver assist I'm curious whether or not this mod will affect it. I may try applying this over the weekend and if so I'll post the results.
Let me know how it goes! I’m waiting on my USB adapter to come in and I’m trying to find a windows PC to run ForScan lol

I am happy to report that my experience matches exactly to what @Electric Goat described!

All said, this makes the money spent on grabbing the cable and time spent using Forscan per the instructions here. A Happy New Year, indeed. :)

Very cool! I did find a bug though.

It's important to turn lane keep assist back off before turning cruise control off otherwise lane keep assist will stay active but there will not be any visual indicator for it.

The car would let me veer out of the lane but my steering wheel would rumble if I veered out of the lane.

Not a big deal. I just need to remember to turn lane keep assist back off before turning cruise control off otherwise lane keep assist will stay active.

I may be wrong but I think the line crossing vibration alert is a whole separate feature from lane keeping assist, which actually turns the wheel. I'd wager that the line crossing vibration actually only functions when lane keeping assist is off, by design.

FWIW - I did notice this as well. Just forgot to mention it. Oops. :)

Just took a short Interstate drive and BC Hands-free seems to work. I was able to use lane change, and the car shifted in the lane when I passed a semi. (y)

Very cool. I'm glad that this forscan adjustment seems to really be working out for people.

That is AWESOME!! Thank you for checking! This was my last hesitation on doing this.

Now I just need to get my hands on a windows laptop and learn how to use ForScan.

My forscan setting was E so I changed it to C. I followed the instructions outlined in the first post

I don't know what version I'm on but I'm driving a 2021 and I haven't received an update in 6 to 8 months. I can plug and charge at Tesla stations and I have the updated startup animations on all screens along with updates too down icons on the media screen
@Electric Goat @Reicher89 ForScan Newbie here. In the original instructions you said to check the spreadsheet to see what you should change the value to. For you @Reicher89 you said A would change to 8. @Electric Goat you said yours was E so you change it to C. Looking at the spreadsheet it seems like A & E are the same as 8 & C. So how did you know which one to change to? Are they grouped by 4s and you look for the corresponding "LA Disabled" for that group of 4?

Yes. Whichever setting you have, you want to change to LA Disable. The KIIWC and DRLCF should stay the same.
