The high voltage battery and eDrive systems of your vehicle are covered by the Electric Vehicle Component coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles.

I periodically get an error message stating something about Adaptive cruise control and adaptive braking may be having an issue.

1. Should I take this to the dealer as it happens occasionally.

2. If there is a problem with Adaptive Cruise Control is is covered as part of Drive system (8 years or 100,000 warranty).

Thanks

I wouldn't think cruise control is covered under drivetrain, AI bot says its not.

Clarification of Fat finger typing: I am asking what is covered as part of eDrive systems.

I think you’re conflating eDrive and drivers assistance.

eDrive is the electric vehicle specific drivetrain parts (motor and gearbox). Adaptive cruise though is drivers assistance and is nether specific to EVs nor a part of the drivetrain.

1) Why wouldn't you? Has your 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty expired?

Thanks, My 3 years has not expired but I only have about 6 more months. So based on responses I am taking the car to the dealer.
Thanks for everyone's comments.

I get this message from time to time and I find it’s due to condensation on screen in front of camera hidden behind the interior mirror mount.

A minute or two on a/con resolves.
