Does anyone know of a list of cool things to modify on the Mach e using Forscan? I recently completed the mod to enable the foot activated hatch opening and it works great. Wondering what else I can play with.

Wait...what? You can enable kick to open liftgate??? What year/model did you do this on? I have a 2024 Premium AWD ER and would love to have that feature. Is the sensor still there on my vehicle, just disabled?

They stopped putting the actual hardware on the car at the end of the 2022 model year, so no, you can’t enable it on your 2024.

I wonder if they still use the same wiring harness/pigtail/connector but just removed the sensor? If so, it would be possible to retro-fit the sensor. But then, what software mods would be needed? Can you tell I really want that feature?

Search the forum. There are a few folks who put hardware in their cars to do this, but I don’t remember the specific thread.

There are a couple of more that I’ve been searching forum for.
1. Number of turn signal flashes when tapping the stock
2. Changing the high beam to the dot matrix looking thing. (I can’t remember the name)

I’m guessing the wiring harness isn’t there anymore. Some later 22s didn’t have the sensor but had the wiring.

My questions would then be, has the operating module for kick-to-open been removed, or maybe was it part of another multi-purpose module? If a single-purpose module, where does it live in the car...somewhere tucked up under the dash in an inaccessible location? And what about wiring? How extensive a job would it be? And finally, how can we find out?

The wiring is not there in later models. Whether the module is different, how to run the wiring, install the sensor is a big project. Most just install the EV-Vida kit, which is a bit of a project itself.
