I bought my 2024 MME in late November. I have been charging for about a month via the Ford Charge Station Pro in my garage.
Max charge current is set to 48amp. I usually Target Charge to 80% and unplug the charger only after the car has charged to target.
I noticed lately that almost every time after the car is charged, I unplug the charging cord and the station light turns from pulsing blue to solid white (Station Reset). Then it turns back to solid blue (Ready to Charge). No problems with the station delivering charge to the car. This happens whether or not I have set a charging schedule or pre-conditioned.
I’ve called Ford twice about this. The first time they said it was due to a spotty wi-fi. I checked the station's wi-fi connection while it was solid white and my internet provider app said “strong connection”. Called the Ford Customer Experience/Ford BEV/Ford CX team back again yesterday. After checking with someone, the agent said it could be two things: 1. Spotty Internet connection (which it is not) or 2. The station needs a software update. They checked the station and it doesn’t. They said as long as it charges the car okay, just keep an eye on it. Anyone else having this experience?
