Just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation as me. I have a 2021, job1 MME and received an OTA update that messed up my IPMA module and possibly other modules too. I contacted Ford to find out why I haven't received an update in almost a year. My last update was 24-PU0301-BLM-PE on May 30, 2024. Ford told me to go to the dealer to get my IPMA module updated and relearned and that I would have to pay for the repair out of pocket. Fortunately, I have an extended warranty and only had to pay $100 instead of the $900 I was quoted. Even though my IPMA module and several other modules were updated, I still haven't received any of the OTAs that other owners have gotten (BC 1.3, extended HVAC controls from Fordpass, and estimated SOC in AA and Carplay).

Anyone else with a job 1, 2021 MME that hasn't received these updates?

Your car seems to be talking to the cloud just fine. I don't see anything wrong with it in terms of it being able to get updates or not. The HVAC update shows pending on the server, and you also show a pending GWM which would need to come in first before the APIM update that gives your the SoC you're asking about will release on the server. Looks like just crappy luck with the OTA process to me. All in all, your car is not very behind, IMO. Your IPMA is already at the latest version and you can fully enable BC 1.3 with FORScan as your car sits right now.

Like you, my last update was May 2024 (6.14.0), but the car drives and works fine. I have no complaints.

I just pulled connected data on your car again now. Check the date and time stamp......connectivity is working just fine.

Brother, you're a software engineer. Get the $30 FORScan cable, spend a few minutes making the config changes you need to enable BC 1.3 and you can enjoy the product you're paying for to its full potential and stop waiting for Ford's crappy OTA process.

Im not going to invest more money into this car. Im actually selling it next month. I just want to try to experience BC 1.3 since I paid the $600.00 to renew my BC. I definitely appreciate your insight into this though.

Well, Ford just started sending out the OTA that writes the config to enable BC 1.3 to these cars yesterday, so hopefully you get lucky and get it before then. Make sure your wifi is connected in case you get it. The OTA's that config only do require wifi to install.

I doubt you will get it because the latest APIM may be a pre-requisite for the BC OTA to install, but I cannot say for sure that is the case.

2021 Job 2 Premium. No updates since May 2024. Ford website shows correct current milage and charge for the vehicle, so I have connectivity, just no updates.

If your Car meets ALL of the following criteria, your car needs to be fixed by a dealer by updating the IPMA with FDRS. As of now, they don't have a way to fix this OTA and a dealer or someone with FDRS will need to get it un-stuck.

Requirements:
- Received BC 1.0 Update previously (Dealer or OTA it appears)
- Received the BLE update last year, and nothing else since
- FDRS shows an IPMA update available, but NOT showing the GWM/APIM/TCU as available or will be available after completing the IPMA

Unfortunately there isn't a TSB or anything to point to for this. So it won't be easy to get the dealer to just do it. I have a feeling there are more cars than they realize in this situation.

I have a ā€˜21 Premium and just got the BC 1.3 about 2-3 weeks ago. First update since last October or so. I still haven’t got the HVAC update or the 10.0.0 or 10.1.1 Updates. ā€˜21 updates were shut down when they had issues with updating it with the 1.3BC update and starting in Jan they started updating us when they got it straight.
