Wanted to test out the Ford gifted Tesla adapter just to verify it works and that my wife and I felt comfortable with it. Worked fine but seeing the Teslas raised my blood pressure. Did get a parking spot at the end so no blocking two spots. I will admit it was nice to just pull off the highway but noticed that there two CCS fast chargers also there so really I could have used those. The one thing to remember is that there is a release at the bottom to release it from the adapter from the charger

Never once in my life have I let someone else's decision on what they drive affect my personal feelings.

I have the adapter but have not used a Tesla charger and hope I never have to. It would be my absolute LAST choice and only if an emergency. My mission in life is to never put a penny in the pockets of the Muskrat.

I don’t like giving money to Tesla but their charging stations are the best by far in my experience. Plenty of availability and almost every one is working. This is essential when planning a long trip. I don’t want to drive around or have an unpredictable waiting line if I’m on a long trip.

I’m up for suggestions for reliable alternatives to Tesla SC stations.

Seeing the Tesla cars raised your blood pressure, but paying Tesla to use their Supercharger didn't?
As mentioned it was just a dry run to see if it worked in an emergency. It is good to have options. That will hopefully be my last time using it.

I tried the adapter once as well. $0.59 charge for the try out. Peace of mind on a longer trip...

I hope you're not paying any federal taxes...
