Yes there were many delays in 20-21 when my MME First Edition was ordered - at the factory and later in Kansas City. There were no specifics as to what was being done other than fixing stuff
It took 7 months from order to delivery, but it finally got there.

Your memory is correct. I remember those frustrating months waiting for my 2021 Mach-E to arrive from the factory. Ford's communication with the customer's waiting for delivery was poor or non-existent. It's disappointing that Ford's Communication Department did not learn anything from that boondoggle four years ago. History appears to be partially repeating itself with the production of the 2025 Mach-E.

P.S. My 2021 Mach-E Premium (VIN 089XX) is the best car I've ever owned in most respects. However, ownership has been a frustrating experience in some respects, i.e., many warranty recalls.

I was able to look up my car, a dealer stock vehicle that I signed a bill of sale for on March 3rd, using ford’s website. Ever since March 3, the dealer insists that it is arriving “the next week.” I went into the dealer yesterday and the dealer said that all they can see is that the car is still “in transit.” According to this info, the car isn’t even built. Am I missing something?

The tracking has so far proven to be wildly inaccurate. You can try using dev tools to see the "behind the scenes" details, or do so by installing the chrome extension:

It might give you some more information, but we don't really know what the true status is of the 25s so far. AFAIK not one has been delivered to dealers or customers. I think it's safe to say that it won't be next week, but who knows, when they do come they'll probably all come at once.

He said they’d tried to get me new asap, but couldn’t give me a time frame. Considering I signed for the car, was given the VIN, and left a deposit, I’m not sure how there even legal. Looks like I’m not getting mine for a long time.

Why does Ford tracking work for you, what browser are you using? ?‍

For now just on my Android phone using chrome, no debug etc. Have not fired up my laptop

Did they say why they sold the same car to two people? That is highly irregular.

I might be tempted to have a lawyer explain to the dealer that, no, they sold the car to you. And when the car comes in, it will be in the dealer's best interest to deliver it to you.

Here is the current location of my car per my dealer:

Looked at Google Earth and it shows a building with a lot of Black & White cars and pickup trucks, just south of Cameron, Texas. Looks like it used to be a Jeep dealer. Just a wild guess.

“I was able to see that the hold was cleared last night.

Now we are just waiting for them to figure out transportation for all the Mach-E's they brought over before the tariffs hit. The estimate I'm seeing is 5/6-5/12 but I am not certain how accurate that is.”
