I bought in OC in 2022 (not in the City of Orange), and had none of the problems you experienced. No markups, X-plan pricing, all available rebates, etc. There are good and bad dealers, and there are some good ones closer than LA. Of course, you are right that a drive of an hour or two can be worthwhile.I will add that if you live in OC that its convenient to shop there...

The dealer close to my house where I recently got my GT just posted on their stories on Instagram

Pulling up Google Earth April 2025 shows many of those lots empty. That is a WHOLE lot of cars!As far as the first sighting of a 25,the shifter is going to be the gold standard!
I only deal with my contact for sales, that has been great. I used them for service for a while, but not anymore. I understand.Didn't question you and had no intention of making this personal. I was just saying the picture didn't show anything that would confirm it was for sure a 25. A couple other members here had dealers try to say that late 24 arrivals were 25's. Sounds like you have done a lot of business with Galpin and are happy with them. I tried to purchase a Lightning from them last September, and it didn't go well. Ended up buying elsewhere after getting the run around from them for over 3 weeks.
Where? The only Mach-E on their Insta is clearly a '24 and there's none in stock or showing anything but in-transit on their web site. Now that's better proof of a on the lot 25. ?
That’s a huge bummer to hear. I’m thankful that I have been working with the same guy for all my cars for so long. It’s similar to the relationship you have with your dude. I’ve done 4 cars with him over the years (including my 21 premium) and he hadn’t pulled any of that weird stuff. Always been fair.I will add that if you live in OC that its convenient to shop there, but when I was looking at getting my First Mach E and again on my maverick I went to the dealer in Orange - they marked the car up insane amounts (in 2022), added $7000 for wheels, and so on. Sunrise Ford in The SF Valley just blatantly put premiums on their cars too, because they could. In the End Buying a car in Orange County seems to be 10%+ more expensive. On each of my 3 previous orders Galpin honored my X plan, worked to find me better rebates, and so on.
I just don't understand paying an extra $10k on a car when the alternative is to find a dealer within an hour to two that would save me from all the drama. The dealer in Orange left a bad impression on me.
In the Instagram story is showed the sticker as a 2025...is it a fake?Where? The only Mach-E on their Insta is clearly a '24 and there's none in stock or showing anything but in-transit on their web site.
