Hi John, will you pair the rally springs with stock GT shocks? Please share the experience after installation and drive. Thank you.

Yes we are installing the OEM rear GT shocks back in his car so that we can get a good comparison what the suspension is like with stock shocks and Rally springs vs what he has now, stock springs and Koni rear shocks.

Can you give us the measurements of the wire size, length of spring and the diameter?
I could if I was home but currently in a plane and won’t be back home until Sunday. Can do it then unless one of the other members that also have these springs will get you the information first.

I'm thinking we can source springs from somewhere else if we simply know the length and spring rate needed. Giving Ford almost $300 for a single coil spring is ridiculous.

Didn't make it home Sunday because I made a detour and stopped in CO to visit friends. I got home last night and this morning got the measurements on the OEM Rally springs you asked for.

I measured the thickness of the coils in millimeters but the length and width in inches.

Front springs:
Coil thickness 14.5mm
Width 5 7/8"
Length 13 3/8"

Rear springs:
Coil thickness 17.2mm
Width 4 3/4"
Length 14 5/8"

Appreciate it!
Let me know if you need anything else. I'm installing these in John's GT on Monday. Can't wait to see what he thinks of the ride.

The spring rate is still the same as the first post in the thread, correct?
The spring rates that giwu42 posted in the first thread are Eibach spring rates that I posted in my thread. Not sure what you are wanting to know about those spring rates. What we don't know is what the actual spring rates are of the OEM springs but Jared at Eibach told me that their spring rates are very similar to the OEM's.

Oh, ok. I must've misread. I thought the original post had the OEM Rally rates on it. The 180 fronts and 660 rears I mean.

mark boris and I calculated those based on the OEM rates found on the Eibach lift springs, but we do not have official confirmation that those are the true numbers.

I finally got the springs! I'm currently calling various suspension shops around the area for quotes. Some shops recommend doing an alignment later, letting the car "settle" after some time, while others are fine just doing it immediately after spring installation. Does it matter when I need to do an alignment?

I also didn't buy spacers yet since I have a RWD standard range. I'll probably take a look at ride height after springs are installed to decide. Let me know if this raises any red flags with y'all.
