Given that 2025s are just barely now coming to lots, this isn't surprising. There just isn't supply. Most companies had 2025s out in November....Ford is only 7 months late.... "soon"

It is so weird how Ford is routinely very late with the next model year of the Mach E.

Indeed...I suspect a rebound in May/June as 2025 supply becomes available.

That's over 22K vehicles, all 2025s, with very few sold by 4/30.

Crazy they have made that many but yet barely a fraction have reached dealer lots. Seems like believers really started to happen in numbers this week.

There's less than 20 2024 MachEs per state in stock, 25's show around 21 per state. Majority of 4'897 25s inventory is in some form of 'Transit' or built status.

Our Mullinex Ford which normally has 90 between all 5 of their dealerships, has 1.

Their just not many available. Same thing happened to the 4Runner and continues today, very low available from factory. Not surprised. Most of us have been waiting Months.

Same with the Lightning Pickup. A lot 'Intransit'. Few on the lots.

What’s the brutal part?

“A Ford spokesperson said the poor EV sales were due to the model year changeover for the two vehicles and low supply on dealer lots.”

Years ago I said if I ever went back for my Masters degree I would write a thesis on the shortsightedness of month over month and year over year business reporting.

It removes all context, seasonality and “stuff than the people reporting the numbers know.”

Last year they did a fire sale and huge discounts and had tons of inventory.

This year: less discounts and less inventory. Of course sales are down!

But give us a 4 month rolling average compared year over year as well as a 3 year trend and we could actually analyze the data and draw conclusions.
