Picked up my 2025 today. I will post pictures in the morning. I like the new IPC layout. Lots to go in and set up/re-configure to my liking. Enjoyed the drive home.

FWIW my FM told me he literally has no idea what the holds are about. He said the tariff’s threw everything up in the air but that the ones on hold are all custom orders. Glad to be done with this whole process :)

Funny, mine is on hold and was a dealer, not a custom order. Go figure. Then again, maybe that was just for the cars your FM has been dealing with and didn't apply to all.

Same, mine is also dealer order and on hold. Hopefully I'll see mine soon. It feels great and hopeful that I'm starting to see people get theirs! I got a call today from one of the sales reps that glacial gray come in, so now I have some thinking I gotta do ?

I see that now, and it also includes the performance update. We wanted these wheels but didn't need the performance update (Which can be added later) or the summer tires which typically wear out pretty fast.
Also I'm in a snowy area so already committed to snow tires, so the summers get limited use

The Ford works in mysterious ways.
Honestly, I'm thinking part of the issue is that Ford (and probably every other legacy car manufacturer) really isn't set up for people doing pre-orders and constantly checking their order status online.

With most of my previous cars and while being dragged car shopping with my parents when younger, generally the process was you figure out what makes and models of cars you're interested in, you visit several dealerships in person to see what they have on the lot, and if they have one you like on the lot you negotiate a deal and purchase the car or move on to a different dealership to repeat the process.

Even with online shopping, I don't think it's that different. You look at the dealer's website, then contact the dealer via the website or head down in person to look at the cars, wash, rinse, repeat.

If you're shopping in one of these "traditional" manners, you probably won't be quite as peeved unless you were really, really in a rush to get said new car. You'd be like, "Oh, they just don't have what I want yet," and move on and/or wait patiently.

We're kind of the weirdos here in that we did a pre-order/pre-deposit on cars and are constantly trying to figure out where the car is that we put some money on a few months ago before they even showed up on the lot. Ford isn't really geared to handle this as I think most of their customers, even now, don't shop that way.

Edit: fixed typos

Hey, so I think I'm struggling to understand how the rebate affects me when I'm leasing. For example, let's say I'm doing a 36-month lease with $6,500 rebate. Does that just mean my monthly payment is ~$180.56 less than without the rebate? Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture, as I do not know what my residual amount is yet?

My ETA has been 5/14 to 5/20 since I was issued a production date. I got news just now that Ford has put a Quality Control Hold my car and now who knows when it will be delivered. The tracker still shows the same thing it has for the last month. I'm frustrated to say the least. The closest GT in glacier gray with bronze package is 430 miles away. I'm not willing to travel that far.

Has anyone else had their 2025 placed on a quality control hold and did you get to take delivery?

I had a hold on early April. My ETA had pushed to June on Sunday. Took delivery yesterday

The one I originally ordered is on this hold. It's been on it since 3/7

well damn. I'm hoping my dealer can get hands on something comparable. There have been no GTs delivered within 100 miles of me that I have been able to find. They all continue to say ETA 3-4 weeks.
