For those of you who have taken delivery.

If you want to provide feedback to the Ford Pass team, I know a person over there. It's too hard to consolidate all of the feedback from multiple threads so I'm starting this one.

If you have your MME and have feedback/wants/needs for Ford Pass then list them here and I'll pass them along. Just to set expectations I would not expect any responses but I know feedback is appreciated.

Have not taken delivery yet (car's on a train) but here's what I've observed from the other threads:

  • Battery display as % not miles inside FordPass and the car
  • Ability to link Electrify America Pass+ Membership with FordPass account for $0.31/kWh Plug&Charge
  • Ability to pay for and manage WiFi hotspot subscription through FordPass with no additional account needed

My phone is a OnePlus 6T. My wife has a Samsung Galaxy S9 and some of her experiences are better than mine (especially PaaK).

The functions I need seem to work pretty well (unlock, lock, remote start).

Setting it to only charge to 80% was a little weird but I did figure it out. Had to scroll way down on the charge settings page to see the

Message Center is currently showing 1 message on the "my account" page but there are no messages when I click into it.

I can't manage my connected services from within the App -- I have to go to the website for that. Also "ford.com/connectedservices" isn't a URL that I can click on in this page. I have to either type the URL or copy/paste it.

And this may not be the FordPass team but I have been unable to activate my FordPass Charging Network trial. Once the list of "connected services" was empty. Another time the site failed to get through to the end. And every other time, it fails to pull in the payment service. Currently getting this beauty:

Phone as a Key (PaaK) is not supported for my phone. It tells me to Contact a Guide for more details but doesn't actually tell me how to do this. I can click "Continue, I Understand" but then it doesn't work.

Two problems in the screenshot below.
1) MY MUSTANG MACH... gets cut off. Surely there's enough room for the full name of the car.
2) The cards at the bottom take a LONG time to render. (When they do finally render is "Remote Vehicle Setup" and "Find a Dealer.")

Intermittently, I get an error message at the top with a red banner -- something like "Sorry, FordPass isn't responding. Please try again later" I could use the app fine but the banner sometimes got in the way.

Does the FordPass team have anything to do with availability of DCFC stations? I’m pretty frustrated by the lack thereof in the Kansas City area: only one such station - in Independence, MO.

Johnson County, Kansas (suburbs west of KC) sits on the I-35 backbone and is one of the most affluent counties in the country. Teslas abound, including several Superchargers. But not a single FordPass connected DCFC. Really inexcusable there isn’t at least one station here at rollout.

No I think that's going to be for EA, ChargePoint, EV Go, Blink and such to sort out. Ford Pass is an aggregator of charging not a creator.

Well if Ford is staking the viability of it 20bil investment in EVs on a third party network of chargers, that’s a risky gamble. You’d think Ford would take active involvement in developing the infrastructure even if it is outsourced. I really hope that’s not the case.

Ford exec: Sure the charging network will make or break our EV plans - so let’s take EA’s word for it that they’ll add stations. No, I don’t think any Ford exec is saying that. Man I hope not.

I sincerely hope Ford is willing to put their own dollars into shovels into the ground to build more chargers. Not a single EA charger I've ever seen would be compatible with a pickup towing a trailer... and Ford says a F-150 EV is but months away from reveal. Where are they going to charge?

You're tilting at windmills. He's got friends who are software developers, not executives. If you have a problem or suggestion for the app then make it here. If you want to bitch about ford's business decisions don't post on this thread.

Noted. While we’re offering suggestions: try acting like less of a jerk. It’s a consistent pattern with your posts. This forum should be a place for *friendly* discussion. And while I realize this is slightly off-topic, I suspect the reason some people behave like jerks is that not enough people call them out for it.

I had posted in the other thread with @Ford Team, https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/fordpass-alexa-skill-google-home.2540/post-96206
but I will post here as well.
1) When preconditioning prior to departure, it would be much better to select a temperature (as in degree setting) that we wish instead of the subjective "cool, medium, warm" options currently available.
2) I have not been able see see any "My Journeys" through FordPass. Is this not yet available? I do see that Trip Logs are "coming soon" and wondering if these are related.
3) I don't see current odometer mileage. Should I at least be able to see my current odometer mileage in the "Glove Box"? It only shows 1 mile.

FWIW, I am running FordPass on a Samsung Galaxy S10 with Android 10.
-my FP does show battery percentage and estimated mile range.

Yeah, the root of some of these issues is that the Vehicle Dashboard available from a browser offers a different experience than the mobile app. As an example, for this specific case (Connected Services), the Vehicle Dashboard displays a card that can be clicked to take you to the "connectedservices" endpoint URL.

I surprised - I dont see anything like what is shown above in the dashboard - I get an error message on the dashboard page - I see the MME in the garage as a Ford Edge so what ever is shown is Sync 3 etc. No connected services although I can find connected services in vehicle details but even that errors out when clicked.
