Great thread! I am interested in doing this with our FE. The ride is one of my only complaints... Apparently the fronts are on back-order but the rear (rev. B) are in stock.

I have a question about the camber bolts...

After putting new tires on a while back I had our Mach-E's alignment done at the dealer. The "before" measurements had the passenger rear toe out of spec and in the red. The "current" measurements has the passenger rear toe technically out of spec but in the yellow...

So did my dealer do a shoddy alignment are are the adjustment bolts that can be added to the rear? My dealer generally does a very good job with service so I do wonder if I can improve the alignment...

The rear toe is adjusted via a "toe link" and not affected (by a measurable amount) by a camber adjuster. A camber bolt would not have an effect on this. I would take the car to a dedicated suspension or alignment shop to have them re-check the alignment or have the dealer re-do it. ??

Ok if I wanted this done would the dealer do it? Where would I go? I love my car except for the ride but I am in no way skilled enough for this level of work.

I just searched for "Auto Customization" on Yelp and sought out the shops that have done suspension work (judging by reviews and photos). After calling around for quotes, some included wheel alignment, and some didn't, which means you'd also have to find a shop that can do a wheel alignment.

Someone earlier in this thread did indeed go through a dealer, but it might be pricey. (Edit: It was @Kachook!)

I have my installation appointment scheduled for this Monday, and then an alignment the next day. Hope all goes well.

Thanks for the reviews and comments, helped me decide to finally order the springs this week, and looking like they may arrive early June. I will be looking around the Bay Area for quotes on installing. I had almost bought the Eibach lowering but glad I waited as I really didn't want to lower the car living in SF.

It's great to hear that for those who have installed the springs have reported a better experience on rough roads.

I have an ER AWD Mach-E so if I understand correctly I need the below springs:

RK9Z-5310-A (Front) (2x)
RK9Z-5560-B (Rear) (2x)

Spacers not needed since mine is an ER AWD?

Do I also need the adjustable camber bolts mentioned here (https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/installed-mach-e-rally-springs-on-my-2023-rwd-er.43993/) or was that specific only to the ER RWD version? 2 or 4 of those bolts, if needed?
Yup just the springs. You don't need spacers since you are AWD. You technically don't need the adjustable camber bolts but you can if you want.

He said that it was really easy to align
It is however the camber in the front is not adjustable. Yours happen to fall within spec but not everyone’s do. That’s why it is important to get adjustable camber bolts. John’s car we just replaced the springs on needed adjusting in the front and I did install adjustable bolts.

Please share the bay area shop information after the springs swap. Thanks

Springs are installed! Both my wife and I immediately noticed an improvement in the ride. Bumps in the road feel softened. But the ride is definitely not at a luxury car level (I admit I had pretty high expectations).

Unfortunately, since my SR RWD car is nearly 300 lbs lighter than the majority, the car is SO HIGH now, lol.

Front height is now at 31.5", while the rear is at a whopping 32". I probably didn't need the rear spacers after all (only one 1/4" spacer, each side).

Rear height for reference (and yes, I need to replace my bare tires soon):

I'm contemplating removing these spacers now, haha. But I'll think about it.

Nice! You just need some 30" AT tires to fill the gap. Bonus - the larger tires should soften the ride even further.?

Joking aside, I would love to see a lifted MME with big ole off-road tires.

So is that 2” front and 2.5” rear lift?
I assume you have driven a bit so it is already settled?
