What will be benefits to changing to eilach sway bars ?
Another reason to change the sway bars: Softer springs will also mean a softer "roll stiffness" for the car. So if you change the springs to something softer and not the sway bars, the car will "roll" more while cornering. If you don't mind the slightly increased roll, then no need to change. But if you want the car to feel more responsive while cornering, then changing the sway bars will help. Also, if you end up raising the car's ride height, the CG will increase and the added sway bar stiffness will help offset that while cornering.

AND it’s the single best modification you can do to this car. Period. I’ve not only installed these bars on all three of my Mach-E’s but at least 7 others (all members here).
Whlie following this thread, I’m curious about something. Would changing the sway bars on a Rally make any sense? I don’t know enough about it to even guess.

Changing the sway bars on any Mach-E makes sense if you want a slightly better riding car and a much better handling one. Makes the most sense to me on a Rally since it has the softest springs than any other trim which will allow more body roll.

Thanks so much for the quick response! Ive been reading how the Rally springs are better and didn’t know if they used different sway bars as well. Will be interesting to see if someone does that on their Rally. Thanks again Mark.

Thank you all for the information! This sounds exactly like what I'm looking for. I just tried to order the parts, and oemfordpartsdirect.com said the RK9Z-5560-B rear spring has been replaced by LJ9Z5560H at $114.13 each. Is this new spring functionally the same? Would they still work with the RK9Z-5310-A front springs?

I am not the expert here but that is the 2025 updated rear spring, not the Rally spring. It will fit but it will have a different height than the Rally springs.

Nice! You just need some 30" AT tires to fill the gap. Bonus - the larger tires should soften the ride even further.?

Joking aside, I would love to see a lifted MME with big ole off-road tires.
The way I heard it, this concept rendering posted to Facebook of this exact idea is what spawned the MME Rally project to begin with!

First time seeing that image. I kind of dig the widebody look.

I finally got those rear spacers removed and the car looks more balanced now! Standard range RWD trims will not need any rear spacers.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Installed Mach-E Rally Springs on my 2023 RWD ER 1000012839

Also, last weekend, I had to fill the cargo area to the brim with stuff totalling more than 200 pounds, and after a decent drive around town, I thought the suspension felt even better!

With the extra weight, I guess I got a taste of what these springs feel like on anything other than a 2021/2022 SR RWD. This reassures me, as when passengers sit at the rear, I likely won't have to warn them about the rough ride anymore!

Anyways, I'm really happy with this upgrade! Thanks to everyone here for your input, esp OP @giwu42!

Putting stiffer anti-sway bars on a Rally makes sense in most aspects. On the street or most dirt road type driving, stiffer bars will reduce body roll, which makes tread contact with the road surface better, resulting in better handling. The only place where increased anti-sway bar stiffness makes no sense is when you're trying to articulate the suspension such as in rock crawling. In that activity, you would want to reduce spring rates, increase ride height/travel, and disconnect the bar(s). They make anti-sway bar disconnects for 4x4 trucks for just that reason. ??

Hey folks, at long last I've put up my Rally springs review. You can find it here. Sorry for the delay.

Elbach or Steeda sway bars (let's put aside that Elbach cheaper)? does Steeda fixed their fitting issue?

No they have not. They feel it fits every model perfectly and it DOES NOT. Their sway bars do not conform to the same shape as the OEM' like Eibach's do. Plus you must install their front end links which require a specific length setting depending on if you have a Premium or GT and have to be greased at least every 10K miles. The Eibach's use the OEM end links. No adjustments, no greasing and absolutely no issues.
