For those of you playing from home, I had a 2021, then traded in for a 2024 which promptly got totaled, and I just finally found a 2025 that was actually in stock.

When searching in Florida using an Orlando zip code and doing a 500 mile search, literally it was a couple of dealers in Miami and one in South Georgia that had any car in actual stock everything else is in transport with no certain delivery date they will promise. Florida is a Mach E sales desert these days if you're in the market.

So on to the 2025, she's white and sparkly so maybe she's part unicorn  ?
I went up to Kingsland GA to buy her which is just over the state line. It was a pleasent experience because I was able to do almost everything online ahead of time and just needed to sign the finance/lease paperwork in person. I'm guessing because I was an out of town buyer they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of service packages or that sort of thing which was awesome and less stressful.

The stalk thing is new but I've quickly gotten used to it. Thank goodness I saw a post on here about it and knew what to do when I reached for the dial and it wasn't there.

One thing I don't understand is what the graphic to the right of the speed is telling me the one with the lighting bolt? The battery gauge is on the other side so it's not that. Is it some kind of efficiency meter? Like the old butterflies were in the electric Focus? I miss those butter flies.

What else is different on the 2025 that I haven't figured out yet?

Updated on what I've found that's different or new after one day with it:
- #1 Fav new feature: French Fry Holder ?
- The Frunk is completely reduced and no longer has the drainage hole for ice (I never used mine so no loss there for me) Not sure what the joystick is on the left? Anyone know?
- They put a little divot in the charger door so you have a target to press
- No knob to spin - it's all on the stalk and the Park button on the end is a touch aggravating if you have long nails
- Console outlets are rearranged so old console selves don't work and new ones aren't out yet @AOSK we need you to get to work on that one
- The phone charger is still too small to lay a larger model phone on flat so it connects properly.
- Was super pleased when the stitching wasn't red, I know that sounds weird but every single stock photo on line with the dark interior only shows red stitching

Things I already ordered: Black dial cover for the screen, hate the silver it looks cheap and a phone mount that goes on the corner of the screen because I still like to see my phone.

That's the power meter. It tells you how much your car is using or regenerating at that point in time. It is blue when you are using energy. It is green when you're regenerating. The butterflies in the Focus Electric and the "Efficiency Leaves" in the Fusion Energi told more of a tale of your average recent usage (more butterflies or leaves when doing well, fewer when using up a lot of ernergy for the distance traveled). ??

Congrats on your new 2025. Please post pix when you have time. ??

Oh I forgot to ask does anyone has a link for a 2025 center console tray? My old one doesn't fit the 2025 they moved the plug outlets around so the cut outs are wrong.

Congratulations on the new unicorn....er pony! Since you didn't mention it, I take it you're not much of a frunk user since you've not complained about its diminutive dimensions. What trim did you get? And as Steve said, photos please!

It's funny that you mentioned this, because I just emailed @AOSK today and asked if they'll be designing a tray for the 2025 since Ford moved the 12V plug. I hope they do! :)

The drain holes are actually still there, just a hilariously useless left one since the cliff on the right will likely be where all of the water ends up. At the bottom of the cliff there's a more useful drain hole as well.

And as mentioned by someone else, the federally mandated emergency release button provides even more comic relief in a space even a cat would have a hard time occupying.

Congrats! And yes, photos please! Preferably with Ford approved frunk shrimp or frunk pizza, or even better, a frunk poodle or frunk filled with water and some koi swimming around ?

Anyone know what this joystick is? Or what's under that compartment, I tried to lift it but it was kind of stiff so didn't want to break any plastic.

What is the leaf and cloud icon next to the word READY on the IP?

It’s not a joystick, it’s a bumper for the hood. I recommend not messing with it as long as your hood closes properly without too much force.

- Was super pleased when the stitching wasn't red, I know that sounds weird but every single stock photo on line with the dark interior only shows red stitching
The red stitching comes with the Sport Appearance Package. So you get the same interior you have but black headliner and the stitching is red. Exterior on the Sport package adds the black wheels and the front grille that looks like the GT, but the pony doesn't light up...

Premium trim with black interior is supposed to have the black headliner either way, but I'm seeing premiums like yours with the light gray headliner and black seats like yours. So I think Ford is still figuring out some of the '25 production. I think I prefer the light headliner though -- ours should have it as we ordered the light gray seats.

...I really don't understand Ford's approach to wireless phone charging. Most automakers really struggle with this, when it should be something really basic and easy. I was hoping the new one would be a functional upgrade, but it seems not. And their USB headers are grossly underpowered, which also leads to poor wireless charger performance and phones overheating if/when you do get it to "work".

I like the stalk shifter change for the '25... Going to match up with more of our other vehicles and the stalk shifter with park button aligns with the Teslas we've owned, specifically our Model Y that its replacing. I guess I've just never been a fan of the dial. But the dial is better than the comically large shifter handle in my Lightning. That slowly, mechanically folds out of the way for when you want to fold the console lid out into the "work surface"... Bravo, Ford, LOL..
