When I park my MME and have something that’s temperature sensitive left inside what’s the best way to keep my MME interior cool on a hot day for up to 1 hour? Should I just leave the car running? When I take my PAAK with me how do I lock my MME? Will any of this set off any alarms?

Park in shade, use a cooler bag with several ice blocks in it. Don't store temperature sensitive items in the frunk as it is too close to high temperature electronics.

I left a kitchen thermometer in my vehicle as I was curious... When I returned to my car at the end of my work day yesterday, it was just over 140 degrees in the cup holder area.

Others will respond to your questions about keeping the vehicle running. I haven't done that but yes, it is possible.

Turn off the countdown timer in settings and just leave the car on. You should still be able to lock the car.
Where is this in the Settings?

Tap the car icon. Select the Vehicle tab. It's the first option named "Vehicle Power Down Timer." ??

How dare they put it as the first option, my ADHD brain assumed it would be harder to find and scanned right past it haha. Thanks!

Window shades are always a must! And a roof shade too if you have the glass top. Living in AZ it's an absolute must for me, even in the winter...

Well, not quite.

As has been stated in thread after thread here (and elsewhere), the Mach-E glass top is treated, and doesn't let in heat like say a Lightning's sunroof. Residents of AZ and other states have proclaimed this year after year, yet there's the constant "I need a shade".

I can only speak for myself in the Durham, NC area, but summers do get hot here, highs in the mid-90's to 100 or more on occasion. Not AZ hot, but still... I've not felt the need for any shades or screens. However, if I'm leaving my car parked for a bit in blazing sun, I do leave it running to keep it cool. It is a lot easier to keep cool than undo 30-60 minutes of sun-baked heat.

Couldn't you also start climate control in the app and just keep extending the time every 15 minutes?
