Finally an update that the car is built - dealer is saying end of July/early Aug delivery - fingers crossed!

"Ford is recalling 197,432 Mustang Mach-E vehicles..." just gotta say this sucks. I think that means that those still waiting are in a brand-new waiting pattern. Mine seems to have been already "fixed" w/o going into the dealer, so maybe it's not that bad.

On a side-note, she's now called the Green Monkey after my son asked why I was calling it a "monkey" (Mach-E). Green monkey, that funky monkey (heh)

Update regarding the recall:

I picked up my 2025 Mach E Premium in late April. Just found out it was part of the recall.

They sent a mobile unit out to come update the software which was appreciated. But after the update they are now seeing a battery error and said that I cannot drive it based on the error. They are sending another person out in a couple hours for further assessment. If the issue can't be solved on the spot, they have to tow it.

Hoping my issue is just an easily resolvable, one-off issue. But wanted to post here in case there other similar reports.

Update for the Update: 2nd mobile tech came out. The initial software upgrade to fix the recall did not properly update one of the sub modules that (I'm assuming) checks the 12v battery for proper voltage. This meant the module was not calibrated properly which caused it to think there was a voltage mismatch when there wasn't. Good to go, for now...

At Last! Dealer finally delivered my Rally yesterday after months of waiting. (I ordered inJanuary)Ten days before I literally came home from the dealership, checkbook still in hand, because the hold hit while we were closing. By the way, I was able to get the full benefit of the $7,000 tax credit by signing a 36 month lease. That took some of the sting out of the wait.

So after 2 Mach-Es, First Edition and 22 GTPE, and 50 months of absolute enjoyment, not perfect but have no expectations as an early odopter, our Third order, MachE GT, 25 Blue GT with Performance Upgrade still hasn't come in. We decided to purchase a Land Cruiser and had it delivered Saturday. Will miss the Crazy fun acceleration and handling that blew through factory tires in 11k miles.

The Land Cruiser is a completely different means to 5 pax seating, but so well built and put together. We have a Lightning as well and one of our vehicles has to be ICE so whenever our "May, then June, then July 25 comes in, it will be available in Mobile Alabama. Great dealer BTW. As one of the original members of the size, I'll still assist where I can. Once a MachE owner, always a MachE Owner.

I think 24 would be a better deal probably on its own, but I had some negative equity to roll in so I wanted to spread it out longer to reduce my payments. ?

Sat for quite a while in the KC rail yard before heading for Seattle. Hope you have better luck. My dealer here in Fairbanks had a delivery date in April from the time it shipped and it arrived right about that time. Back then there were ways to track the shipment along the way. Not sure that is possible any longer.

I ordered a GTPE on April 30th. On 5/15, I got my scheduled week of 6/30. Was built on 7/8 and shipped on 7/9. My ETA is 8/15-8/21. On Thursday when it was marked shipped, the ETA was 8/2-8/8.

When I ordered an F150 in September of 2022, it was not assigned a VIN and scheduled until February 2023. My truck was built 4/12/2023, and arrived at the dealer a few days before 6/15 when I took it home. When I ordered my truck, Ford would give you a rail car number for tracking, but it seems like they don't do that anymore.

Picked mine up yesterday and already love it! Had to drive the kids around last night and it was great!
