You can, but keep in mind I run a body shop so I don't pay full retail. List price will set you back. About $10k parts, labor and paint.

Appreciated, curious why you didn't just go full GTPE instead of 4xe premium even if you were only 5k out of pocket in upgrades?

I can't speak for him but I like my 40 extra miles of range and no jailbars.

We have jail bars, we're just not allowed to see them, I love my 4xe too, but if I'm close in price I'm taking the magna ride over our suspension

At the time we setup the order, we looked at the range. The Premium had better range than the GT, which was the most important thing to the wife.

Lol, that would cost a whole lot more than 10k list and after 30 years, can't get good trade in value. Gotta keep her.

Totally get it, enjoy! Front end is a big upgrade over the premium

Yeah, after 42.5 years, mine says "it would cost you so much, but you can keep the Lightning"...

I can't tell you how many times I've looked for the GT front clip. But the ones that are on criagslist etc are pretty messed up and fully stripped. So even at $500 to $1k for the front there's far too much work involved for me. Kudos to you for doing what I've thought about since the day I bought mine.

Yeah, I was surprised at first. I was really hoping that the cover would be plug and play. The finish panel price is ridiculous, though.

Well, yes and no. The GT nose is a bit draggier than the Premium nose. The GT has slightly less draggy wheels that offset this. The GT-PE has more drag on the wheels, making that model have less range.

From an aesthetic standpoint most people would agree that the GT nose is an upgrade.

The upgrade my wife is looking forward to is her next husband
