Posting an example of the hum will help determine if it’s normal or not. My 2023 doesn’t make noise that I would need headphones to block out, and I have almost super human hearing. If it bothers the wife, take it in to the dealer to diagnose.
One should have come with the car. Otherwise, lots of options from the standard OEM bracket to removable options. Web search will net you tons of results. Forum search will do the same.
It’s virtually impossible to determine how many miles your tires have left on them. Measure the tread depth. Factors like temperature, weather, acceleration, braking, aggressiveness, road condition (freshly paved or heavily pitted / worn), load from passengers / gear, tire rating, all affect...
First car, eh? First you need to know how they calculate range for vehicles:
https://www.epa.gov/greenvehicles/fuel-economy-and-ev-range-testing
You don’t get the estimated range because you aren’t driving a test or simulation. Speed, acceleration, braking, weather, elevation change...
I’ve had DT swap winter / summer tires for three years. Never an issue and they know how to lift EV’s. I remind them it’s an EV, they say “Yup, we work on Mach E’s all the time, and use pucks to lift”. I guess it depends on the shop and the techs / managers.
Because no one is making them. You’d need to ask Ford and / or the third party folks. It most likely has to do with demand. A lot of folks leased their Mach E’s and don’t want to modify if they’re going to turn it in. ICE stang owners like to buy all the attachments at Autozone and glue them on.
Oh fun! $99 a month for the opportunity to be driven through a wall, Wyle-E-Coyote style,
and then get cooked, well done, when you can’t find the emergency door release. All while the CEO lies and makes an ass out of himself.
Drive slower, make it warmer outside, check your tire pressure. It’s a Guess-O-Meter. If you want accurate efficiency stats, go by your miles / kWh in the trip computer.
Somewhere between thirty minutes and three months. Depends on how many plumbuses they need to use. The amount of available schleem will determine how many plumbus they can make.
